Welcome to Uncle Dave’s Cabin! This brand new modern rustic designed cabin will serve as a wonderful setting for your couple’s weekend or a couple of families. Use this home base to access so many local adventures such as the Mercier Orchards, Aska adventure area, the Toccoa River for tubing or fishing, or Zipline Canopy Tours of Blue Ridge, or any of the nearby hiking trails. And after a busy day, you will love the feeling of driving into your home away from home. Kick back and enjoy a drink on the large deck with plenty of seating or soak in the hot tub. End the evening with a fire side chat around a cozy fire pit area just off the back patio.

Alternatively, spend the day at our cabin and take in the peace and quiet of only birds chirping and small creek sounds. Fire up the grill for a lazy afternoon and dine on the outdoor 6 person table with plenty of additional seating to take in the woodsy outdoor setting. Then take a short walk to the river situated close by behind the cabin. By evening maybe play some ping-pong or Simpson’s arcade games while having a movie or game playing in the background in the attached bonus game room. And then relax in the lower floor for a movie night with nearby wet bar or poker/board game night. Plenty of classic favorite games are provided. Our family likes to play some of the vinyl records to set an ‘old school’ vibe.

Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen with Keurig coffee machine, fast WiFi, 7 flat-screen TVs, cable TV, electric/gas fireplaces with remote start, furnished deck, gas grill, 6-person hot tub, fire pit, 3 gas fireplaces, game room, driveway parking for 5 vehicles and more.

We'll provide a starter amount of useful items while you're here - shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash in every bathroom, Keurig k-cups, paper towels, dishwasher pods, and laundry detergent.


3 BEDROOMS plus BONUS/GAME ROOM
Master Bedroom - this is directly off the living area on the first floor and features large windows and direct access to the first-floor deck. You get a wonderfully comfortable King size bed, plus an armchair in here, a wall-mounted smart TV, plus an ensuite bathroom with a double vanity and toilet.

Bedroom 2 - Bottom floor - this 2nd master bedroom features a Queen-size bed, plus an armchair and direct access to the lower outdoor deck and hot tub. There is also a wall-mounted smart TV and custom tiled ensuite bathroom with toilet, vanity, and large walk-in shower with custom tile work.

Bedroom 3 – Bottom floor across from the 2nd living area and board game room, there’s another King-size bed in here, another smart TV, and work desk. The ensuite in here features a fiberglass tub and custom tile work with shower overhead, plus vanity and toilet.

GAME ROOM / BONUS ROOM
This finished garage conversion room directly connected to the kitchen and main living area will be popular with the kids or even some adult activity. It’s bright and cozy like the other rooms in the cabin, with a futon opposite a wall-mounted smart TV and the added bonus of a Ping-pong table and a Simpsons arcade machine. This is where the twin size bunk bed is located. And as of 5/2025 a Twin-XL over Queen bunk too! The half bath on the main floor is easily accessible to those staying here.

OUTSIDE SPACE
Each of the 2 floors has a balcony area accessed through the large French Patio doors. There’s plenty of seating outside on both levels at which you can eat, drink or just sit back and enjoy the birds and creek sounds. When you’re done relaxing, start up a BBQ using the gas grill that’s waiting for you on the first-floor deck. The lower deck has a top of the line hot tub that seats 6. There’s also direct access from here to the cozy fire pit (firewood usually provided but easy to get at the grocery store or from one of our neighbors right before the entrance to the gated community).

ACCESS TO RIVER
Walk directly from back yard or alternatively, when heading out of driveway go left up the hill, then left at the intersection and then next left. This takes you directly behind the cabin. You will see path next to a community sign taking you down across the train tracks and to the river. Less than a 10 minute walk. Please be safe and respect others owners private properties. LAUNDRY ROOM
Located between the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms on the lower floor is the washer and dryer room. Brand new Samsung units are ready for you to throw all your dirty clothes in after a day of exploring the outdoors in the Blue Ridge area.

WORKING REMOTELY
The entire house is equipped with high-speed internet & Wifi (200 mbps) via an Orbi Mesh system. Plenty of work and table space around the cabin to get a little (or a lot) work done if needed.

PARKING
Can easily park up to 5 vehicles in the long driveway. So not a problem at all if your group is arriving in separate cars.
