Hensley Home : Family friendly, relaxing retreat

Welcome to the Hensley Home! Enjoy this stylish, 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, fully stocked, kid friendly home. Centrally located in Meridian, close to freeway access so you can get to anywhere in the treasure valley.

You will enjoy the endless amounts of restaurants in the surrounding areas or stay in and cook in our fully stocked kitchen. An electric BBQ is located on the back porch with seating to enjoy.
Get a great night's sleep on our brand new cocoon and novaform mattresses and cozy bedding. Fully stocked bathrooms with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap.
Master Bedroom, King bed with attached bathroom. 50" smart TV with two additional twin rollaway beds in the closet.
2nd bedroom: Queen Bed
3rd bedroom: 2 Twin Beds
Our home is a family friendly space, with netflix provided, cards, games and puzzles. In the garage, you will find air hockey/ping pong and foosball as well as a bar table and TV with old school Nintendo games hooked up for endless fun! Our home is also situated next to the community park so you can see the kids while enjoying the front porch. At the park there are also charcoal BBQs and picnic tables.
We have a large laundry room with a washer and dryer for you to use during your stay.

Your safety is our upmost importance. We do have two security cameras that record audio and video whenever a person is detected. There is one at the entrance of the home and one at the garage/driveway. We use these to verify guest identity.
There is a smart hub in the living room that came installed with the house. The smart hub does have a nanny cam feature in the living room which is not on or activated and is covered by a privacy shield.

We are located near lots of great locations:
The village in Meridian so you can shop or eat at the many restaurants.
The Boise Zoo, downtown Boise, downtown meridian, Wahooz family fun center and roaring springs water park. Also, so many seasonal activities depending on when you are visiting. Such as floating the Boise River in the summer or visiting Lowe's Family Farmstead in the fall.

We do have security cameras onsite. One camera is located outside the garage and one at the front door, they do record audio and visual. There is also a smart hub that came with the home located in the living room that controls lights, etc. On the smart hub there is a nanny cam, it is not activated and will not record. There is also a privacy shield covering it.

A home away from home.

This beautiful property was exactly what we needed. Spacious, clean, family friendly game area in the garage, a small community childrens playground right outside the front door and a train that only passed during the day made the kids very excited to see it. Fast reply from the owner to resolve internet issues caused by the service provider. Comfortable beds, easy check in and check out. 1000000% would book again.

Awesome!

I stayed here with my husband and two kids (11 and 8) while in town visiting family. My mom lives less that two miles away so the location was perfect for us to have our own space. I really appreciated the cleanliness, well stocked kitchen, large laundry room, and having separate bedrooms for the kids. The beds were comfortable and I also loved the fans that were available- I almost felt like I was at home when I got in bed at night! I will definitely be staying here next time we visit, thank you!

Perfect stay!

Amazing property

If we could give this more than 5 stars we would! Great location and close to the freeway. Spotless and homey. One of the best appointed vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed in. Kitchen amenities were perfect, bedding was super comfortable, and plenty of extra sheets, towels, etc. There was plenty of room for everyone to stay comfortably. We only had 1 brief issue with the wifi and the host responded quickly (even though it was late at night) and helped us get it fixed fast. We will definitely stay again if we’re in area!! PS we were a little concerned about the train but we never heard the train on the weekend or at night. It was never a bother at all.

Beautiful new-build perfect for a comfy family stay!

This new-build is a perfect, comfy, and clean house fit for the family! The owner was incredibly accommodating with our early flight arrival, and helping us understand the layout of the property to prepare our mobility-impaired family member. Monique left a lovely snack set up which was devoured after a long night of dancing at my niece's Meridian wedding. The freight train that went by when we first arrived at noon on Friday made us nervous, but it never went by again the rest of the weekend and the stay was relaxing. The beds were plush and comfy, and with three bedrooms there was room for everyone to spread out. Plus the spacious and enveloping couches in the living room allowed everyone to grab a spot but still be able to hang out. Also with the in-home washing/drying machine, we were able to go home with less laundry shoved away. The weather was gorgeous during our stay, so we loved being able to make a cup of tea/coffee and sit out on the patio and enjoy the peace and quiet. We didn't have any young kiddos with us, but the playground is literally right out the front door and would be amazing for younger families. Lastly, we so appreciated not only the snacks but also the tea, coffee, shampoo, conditioner and so many other personal touches that made us feel more welcome. We look forward to staying here again next time we are in Idaho!

It was easy to find. Very clean and comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable and everyone slept great. Kitchen had everything we needed. We will definately book again next time we travel there. There is a train track behind it and the train seemed to come by 3 to 4 times while we were there for three nights but seemed to come only during the day and didn't really disturb us.
