Palazzo Pedretti is a residential facility born from the renovation of the building housing the historic Pharmacy of Providence, dating back to the 1930s and characterized by a façade covered with the typical red brick of Bologna. A few steps from the SantâOrsola hospital, the property has a strategic position that allows you to easily reach both the historic center and the motorway junction.
The supermarket is within a short walk distance, while the post office, some banks, and various commercial activities, including bars, restaurants and pubs are located along the way. Within a 2 minute-drive it is possible to access the exit 11 of the Bologna ring road and quickly reach any part of the city or the motorway.
The property is located in a quiet residential area, just outside the medieval walls that surround the historic center, with its famous streets. Less than 10 minute-drive from the trade fair complex, the university area is also easily reachable.
The S.Orsola-Malpighi hospital is approximately 800 meters away.
You can find some free spots, but they are very rare and they usually are unmarked spots where people park anyway, but in some of these you could get fined by police.
That area is Area L for parking. A daily ticket is 6⏠and can be paid at the red machines on the sidewalks.
It's possible to have a monthly ticket for Area L that costs 40âŹ, you can buy it at tobacco stores, you just ask for "ticket mensile per il parcheggio in zona L".
Keep in mind that with these tickets, you can park only in blue striped spots. Never on yellow spots. It's always better to check the signs near the parking spot when you leave the car to check that it's ok for Area L tickets. The closest street with many blue striped parking spots is Via Azzurra

The apartment opens onto the day area where a comfy double sofa bed (160x200) is located, in front of a small cabinet with a 32â Smart TV and WIFI connection which guests can use to access online services - such as Netflix - with their own account. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and induction hob. The dining table can accommodate up to 4 people.
From the living room you can access the night area, furnished with large wardrobes and a comfy double bed (160x200). A french window opens onto the large equipped terrace, overlooking the greenery behind the building. The bathroom is also well finished and equipped with a large crystal shower, heated towel rails and washing machine.
The apartment was completely renovated in October 2020 to ensure guests a pleasant stay in a refined and comfortable environment. Although overlooking via Massarenti, one of the most popular routes to reach the city center, the property is extremely quiet, thanks to high quality window fixtures. The building restoration was eco-sustainable: the construction of the thermal coat and the installation of solar panels on the rooftop both aimed at excellent insulation of the premises while minimizing the energy footprint of the building. Air conditioning with an air purification system provides a pleasant temperature and a hygienic environment at all times, while the central heating is adjustable via a thermostat.
