The property itself is a beautiful old Inn, offering large rooms and with a very well-mannered young staff. However, it is grossly overpriced for what if offers, aka an Inn in the middle of nowhere. ÂŁ120 for one room (we've been given the ÂŁ110 room for some reason) n-o-t including breakfast, and a ÂŁ15 pound surcharge for dogs which is not disclosed on Expedia. So all in all ÂŁ135. Dinner was good but management needs to do some work on the main fireplace, as the air near it was hardly breathable and that can become a health hazard not just for the clients but mainly for the poor lads behind the counter.
The heating in our room's bathroom was not working, nor was hot water from the overhead rain shower. The garden is literally filled with dog poop.
Advise to management, I hope part of my ÂŁ120 will be used to better maintain such a beautiful property.
