On the boundary between Northumberland and Cumbria, there is a wealth of tourist attractions open to guests, including Hadrians Wall, RSPB Geltsdale Nature Reserve and Alston, England’s highest market town. For guests wishing to explore further afield, within an hour’s drive, there is Carlisle, the historic town of Hexham, Gateshead, as well as Newcastle city, with its regenerated riverside, shopping, theatres and nightlife.
