Make the most of summer days with a BBQ on the patio, or enjoy lazy afternoons curled up on the outdoor sofa with a glass of wine and your current read. Upstairs, two king-size bedrooms – one of which can be converted into a twin zip n link option of 2"6 twins – and a single invite a blissful night’s sleep. With three superb beaches, Croyde appeals to all ages, whether you want to ride the waves, do a spot of rock pooling, or enjoy a traditional bucket-and-spade beach day. This charming village has a selection of shops, cafes and restaurants, and is a wonderful spot to sample a traditional Devon cream tea. Walkers are spoilt for choice with the South West Coast Path passing through town and the 180-mile Tarka Trail nearby. To practise your swing, head to Saunton Golf Club (2.5 miles).
