LAGE - Die Lodge liegt versteckt auf einem 1 Hektar großen Grundstück mit hohen Espen und Pinienbäumen. Dieses Haus ist ein idealer Ort für Skifahrer, Wanderer und Biker, da es sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zu den vielen Kilometern Wanderwegen in der Umgebung befindet. Die Main Street Breckenridge und die Skilifte sind nur zehn Minuten entfernt.

AUSSTATTUNG - Kürzlich renoviert, bietet die Lodge Gas- und Holzkamine, vier Vollbäder auf drei Ebenen und eine Gourmet-Landhausküche mit Geräten aus Edelstahl und maßgefertigten Holzschränken. Von wunderschönen Teppichen auf Hartholzböden bis hin zu hohen Kathedralendecken wird Sie Ihr warmer und rustikaler Rückzugsort für Ihren gesamten Aufenthalt umarmen. In den drei separaten Wohnbereichen ist ausreichend Platz für alle vorhanden. Außerdem gibt es eine TV-Ecke, einen Medienraum, einen Schlaf- und Hobbyraum sowie eine Büroecke, falls erforderlich.

Great mountain getaway

There is a lot of space. 4 full baths and 3 living areas. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the view. The Jacuzzi was a welcome respite afer long days on our feet. The house is walkable to 2 separate trailheads (Boreas Pass and Lauriam Open Space.)Host was awesome communication and the house is well appointed with kitchen items to cook dinners.

Quick weekend in Breck

We really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The process was smooth, the house was clean and large (much larger than it looks when you drive up), the hot tub was great, and the furniture/beds were comfortable. A small thing, but just awareness for potential guests is the icey roads. Just be aware that you need either AWD or 4x4 during the winter months. We loved staying here and would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks!

Amazing views, beautiful surroundings.

The house is accurately described as Rustic. Lots of wildlife on property. Moose and fox came through property numerous times. We witnessed a bobcat stalking a fox. Great stuff. As to the house, we were comfortable and enjoyed the seclusion. We found the hot tub temperamental. The host was responsive to our enquiries.

Beautiful Views

We were impressed by this beautiful A Frame home nestled in the mountains in Breckenridge. We enjoyed the hot tub and a daily visit from our new fox friend. Plenty of space for 6 adults. Home is designed with two master bedrooms for two families with younger kids. I would say it’s a two bedroom with a loft and basement with double bunk beds. Each space has its own bathroom which was convenient. There is a pull out queen sofa sleeper. Lots of sleeping space. We enjoyed staying here and would recommend booking for your stay in Breck!

Awesome Place!

The property is beautiful. It is spacious and has everything you need and more! It has more than enough space for a group! Everything is s described and the pictures are true to the place. While there were a couple of things that were noticed upon arrival - they were minor and more about reporting so they were aware but they wanted to take care of it right away and had a repair person come in. Allowed a later check out however cleaners came a little before the agreed upon time. All that said, I would most definitely stay here again - beautiful beautiful property!

Quiet Mtn home, private, quiet

Very spacious, remote cabin, 10-14 min drive to Main Street. We had four adults and 4 kids under 4 with us. The cabin offered lots of space to move around, numerous sitting areas and a basement that could be closed off for anyone who needed to get away. There is a child sized air hockey game which was a hit! There are two master suites, the loft with two twin beds is open and the area in the basement with the bunks is also open to the living area in the basement. We had an issue with the hot tub that was quickly resolved . The property management was great- easy to reach, very responsive.

Beautiful location!

We really enjoyed our 2 week respite from the Texas heat at this beautiful home. Property management company was very responsive and helpful. Minor issues were addressed quickly. The views were outstanding and we loved being close to Breck (10 minute drive to Main St) but far from the hustle and bustle. We were a little disappointed that the “bedroom” upstairs wasn’t enclosed as my husband planned to work remotely for part of the time and the description was a little misleading. We had our 4 little kids with us and the home was large and there was enough space for all of us to spread out and enjoy. Kitchen was well stocked and I enjoyed cooking at the house. We were lucky to see the neighborhood fox many of our days there and we loved ending the days in the hot tub. We were sad to leave at the end of our vacation!

Horrible experience

The property management company was by far the worst at customer service. If you have zero issues then maybe your stay will be fine but ours was riddled with no access to driveway because of a wall of ice and snow, mouse infestation and feces all in the kitchen, non functional appliances, water was turned completely off to our property because of a malfunction and the emergency line was not responded to by management company for over 16 hours. It was a horrible experience and unfortunately ruined our entire thanksgiving and holiday weekend.

Everything was wonderful, but.....

Everything was wonderful, except the condition of the hot tub :( When we arrived to the Lodge at Boreas Pass the hot tub was un-usable. There was a thick layer of grease/hair/dirt and general ick along the sides of the walls and ontop of the water. There was also a good amount of dirt/sand/bark/etc. resting in all of the "seats". We immediately called the caretaker to have someone come and clean it. However we never saw anyone come out and the hot tub stayed in this condition for over 2 days until my husband and our good friend cleaned it up and cleaned the filter. The place is what everyone else has said.....roomy, comfortable, beautiful decor, great location, wonderful views.....however, we choose this place over many others with the same attributes because of it's hot tub and we were greatly disappointed with this.

Although it was just me and my husband we really wanted peace and relaxation in the snow and the Lodge at Boreas Pass did not dissapoint. There is both a gas and a wood fireplace there so that was nice. Everything worked as it should. Even though we were there for a cold snap (-9) the house stayed perfectly warm without us having to turn up the thermostats. Everything we neeed was there and well stocked. I really appreciate the simple check out procedures. The highlight was the kickin' hot tub. We sat in it at night when it was the coldest and it did not lose heat at all. It was great! Communication with the manager was quick and easy by text. Note: DON'T overlook the property info when it says you need a AWD vehicle - it was no joke getting to the house, yuo would not make it without AWD. Also - since we are not super familier with the Breckenridge area we did not realize this house was perched about 1000 feet higher then the town, you may want to take that into consideration if your affected by altitude at all. All and all we just loved this house so much!

Nice property but needs maintenance

This is a nice property up the mountain from Breck but there is maintenance needed and the property manager does not appear very attentive. The sliding glass door to the patio literally fell into the house and onto the kitchen table. Thankfully no one was hurt, especially my 11-year old that opened the door. I could tell this wasn't the first time its happened though - the light fixtures in front of this door were both broken and the other was not - now I know why. There was no warning sign either and the door is heavy with its wooden frame. It is dangerous until fixed. We also saw a mouse in the kitchen which was another concern. The property manager was not empathetic for reasons I can't understand. Despite these issues we enjoyed our stay there. The hot tub is amazing and the living area with mountains views and a nice fireplace was relaxing. A fox and two moose both visited us - right up to the window!

Great cabin in Breck!

My family and I stayed here for 8 nights and what a great place to stay! This cabin is in a quiet, secluded area just minutes from town and offers everything you'll need for your stay. The view from the deck is wonderful, the cabin is very spacious and inviting, and the hot tub is just the ticket after a long hike. You will see plenty of wildlife out of your window including the neighborhood fox that you'll read about in other reviews. He showed up day 1 for us and was great to watch throughout our stay. One thing we really appreciated was the distance between the homes in this area and how private this cabin was. We didn't hear or see any neighbors our entire stay and it was great. Like others have mentioned the pictures do not due the elevation or slope of the area justice. It is a very steep area and I would imagine in the snowy months 4wd and chains would be mandatory. We stayed the first half of June and everything was dried out and our 2-wheel drive Expedition did just fine. As for the cabin there are 2 bedrooms on the main floor that have attached full bathrooms. These rooms each have a king bed. The basement floor is awesome for kids and has 4 bunks that are I believe twin longs. The basement area has an attached full bathroom and laundry room. The loft area above the main floor has 2 twin beds and an attached full bathroom. There were only 4 of us and 8 total beds so the kids had a great time picking different rooms to stay in during our stay.
