Like something out of a Hallmark movie, this custom, magazine-featured log home, is a matchless blend of sprawling living spaces, post-card warmth, luxury touches, and endless entertainment. Six (6) spacious bedrooms, dinning for up to 16, 3 living/gathering areas, 7 porch/balcony areas, covered outdoor gathering space with fire pit and ornate built-in grill, luxury hot tub, 3 surround sound systems, Smart TVs with Roku in EVERY room (9 TVs total), pool table, shuffle board table, foosball, arcade, and nearby shuttle access...all nestled in pine trees on three acres just a few minutes from downtown Breck. The Estate even has a private creek, a willow-filled backyard that Moose absolutely love, and a mountain view directly behind the home with a giant heart naturally carved in the trees. This home is an escape to absolute mountain paradise. You will NOT want to leave!
Just 6 miles south of downtown Breckenridge, you feel like you have a mountain to yourself...but are just minutes from all the action. Arriving to the home is literally "over the river and through the woods". The picture perfect, easy access driveway curves through elegant pines and over the creek to oversized, private parking, an oversized two car heated garage, and the home's grand entrance. Plenty of room surrounds this private estate for summer time walks, access to trails, snowshoeing and sledding. Click your skis on at the house during the winter and glide down the the Summit Stage shuttle pick up right at the nearby corner. The home greets with 60 feet of windows, stone and log entry/foyer. Enormous British Columbia logs assemble the main floor. The 24X22 main living area boasts 20' cathedral tongue and grove ceilings, a floor to ceiling stone/gas fireplace made from local river rock. Enormous wrap around seating flanks spectacular views, a permanent 12' indoor lit pine tree (decorated for the Holidays of course), and scores of Moose sightings throughout the year. A 65" Smart TV tied to surround sound and sub make this the PERFET place to watch the game or host movie night.
The entertainment and joy spills into the dinning/kitchen areas with a custom wet-bar complete with a vast array of bar glassware, wine fridge, sink, and coffee maker. The 11' dinning table easily seats 10 with the adjacent booth (assembled completely from hand-carved trees) seating another 6. The enormous well-stocked kitchen is a chef's paradise. Lots of machinery and tools for the chef of the family or hired private chef if so desired. Connecting the main floor in two places, the outdoor entertaining area will endlessly draw during our perfect summer nights. A built in grill with granite prep space, fan, and overhead lights make the perfect spot for "grill out night". The unique log serving ledge and window pass-through to the kitchen allow the outdoor and indoor prep/cooking spaces to connect with an entertainment flare. Sit around the firepit with friends and catch up over a glass of wine. Outdoor dinning for 6 with plenty of additional seating allows the whole family to enjoy the picturesque backyard areas. A luxury full sized hot tub is the perfect blend of private and serene. "New Moon" nights in the hot tub will show off some of the brightest stars you have ever seen. A main floor master suite is an elegant yet cozy paradise. Offering a king bed, smart TV, window sitting bench, private balcony with loungers and umbrella, electric fireplace, walk in closet, and enormous 5 piece bath, this suite is a vacation in and of itself. A main floor laundry and wash sink center perfectly around the garage, main, and deck entries.
Two 180 log staircases connect the three levels. Upstairs boasts two enormous rooms (one king and one queen) each with private look-out balconies, smart TVs, additional seating, and cathedral ceilings. Between, is a look-over loft, large locker-room layout bath, and a custom office set up with docking station, and dual monitors.
The lower level is entertainment central! Another floor to ceiling river-rock gas fireplace, another wet bar with full sized fridge, sink, and microwave, pool table, arcade, shuffle board table, and foosball lend endless options for competition and play. Or relax at the leather sectional by the 70" smart TV, with surround sound and sub. A dedicated exercise room offers yoga mats, weight machine, pull up bar, speed and heavy bag surrounded by speakers in each corner and a 12" sub. Crank the Rocky tunes for the bag, or meditational music for that morning stretch. Another queen room and 6-twin bunk room flank this floor...both with custom log furniture. Another (even larger) locker room style bath meets in the middle. An additional full and half bath on the main floor provide additional spaces to shower or get ready.
Above the garage is a tucked away private suite for someone wanting to vacation with family, but almost feel like they have their own place.
