Enjoy carport parking for two cars just off the street. (Back into your spot for safer exits.) A few steps and a sidewalk wind down to the official front door, but your entry door is down a path on the left side of the house.

Amenities: Use the viewing deck with grill alongside the house, or take a staircase down to a dining table and lounge chairs at your landscaped beach front. Use of 2-4 kayaks is permitted -- life jackets are provided and mandatory. A public fishing and boating dock is accessible just a short walk away, with ample birding opportunities.

The neighborhood above the beach includes a state part, a forest preserve and the beautiful 18-hole Rolling Hills Golf Course. Fishing, swimming and birding at the public dock a walk away. Bremerton and Brownsville marinas are both within a 10-minute drive. Shopping within a one-mile radius includes Safeway, Fred Meyer, Walgreens, Starbucks, Walmart, fast food, etc. Fine dining and exquisite french pasty shop are in Downtown Manette within 5 minutes..An Antique Trading Post is awesome and across the street

We're a 10-minute drive from the Bremerton ferry, and a 1-hour drive to the Bainbridge ferry. Kitsap buses depart from the ferry terminal to the McWilliams Park and Ride. Uber averages $15 from the ferry to the house; $8 from the Park and Ride. Limited overflow parking can be had a short walk away at the Illahee dock.

Public feedback from our GUEST FROM ALASKA: "This is now going to be the place to stay when I’m visiting my son in Bremerton! It was beautiful sunset moon coming up and sunrise in the morning. Birds everywhere, eagles in the trees next to the house. Wine at the fire pit at night and coffee on the deck in the morning. Even though it’s located by a road, we could not hear any traffic going by. It was secluded and private. Michael was an amazing host! Very hospitable."

The house is a great jumping off point for exploring the Bremerton Naval Base, Keyport Submarine Facility, Olympic College, Poulsbo, Bainbridge Island, Bloedel Gardens, the Olympic Peninsula, Port Townsend, but truthfully ... you will find it hard to tear yourself away from the tranquility of the beach house.
