In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Fair Housing Act (FHA), legitimate service animals and emotional support animals may be accommodated. However, all animals—regardless of designation—must be disclosed prior to booking or arrival, including the number and approximate size. This disclosure requirement is for safety, insurance, sanitation, and to protect future guests and staff, including individuals with severe allergies or asthma, and does not constitute discrimination.
While no fee is charged for access due to a disability, guests are financially responsible for any damage, excessive cleaning, sanitation, deodorization, allergen remediation, or replacement of items caused by animals, including service or support animals. These charges are permitted under platform policy and federal law when they reflect actual costs and are applied consistently.
Undisclosed or unauthorized animals (including service or support animals not disclosed in advance) constitute a violation of house rules and may result in additional charges, loss of deposit, cancellation of stay, or a claim filed through the platform’s Resolution Center or insurance, as allowed by policy.
All animals must be:
Housebroken and under control at all times
Not left unattended
Kept off furniture and bedding
