The Wave Watcher enjoys a prime outlook, with uninterrupted views of the sea, the marina & its yachts, the golf course & meadows. Behind, a dramatic backdrop unfolds – the South Downs cradle it in nature, while the iconic Roedean School adds fairytale romance & Harry Potter magic.

South-facing, it has its own microclimate – any sunny day is beautiful!

The beach is a short stroll away – just follow the sea view.

Guests have full and private access to the entire four-bedroom home, front garden, and raised patio with uninterrupted sea views. Check-in is easy via a secure key safe, allowing you to arrive at your convenience.

You'll also enjoy private driveway parking for up to two cars, with plentiful additional parking on the surrounding roads — a rare find in Brighton.

Our trusted local agents — all Brighton-based — are available if you need assistance during your stay.

Please note: the back garden is wild and unfenced on one side. This is a unique part of the property’s heritage — the home was once part of a row of Coastguard cottages, and the shared boundary reflects a time when neighbours were all close friends.

All bedrooms include professional linen and towels, blackout blinds, and remote colour-change lamps. 3 bedrooms have Firestick TVs.

FOR RELAXED GETAWAYS

The Wave Watcher occupies a coveted position on a private road in one of Brighton’s most exclusive neighbourhoods.
It’s perfect for calm, restorative stays. If you’re planning lively celebrations, loud/wild parties or are a traditional stag/hen group (rather than a low-key group) this will not be the ideal setting.
Adult guests under 25 are welcome with prior approval.

The owners are often just a phone call away and genuinely enjoy hearing from guests. They’re always happy to offer assistance and suggestions about the Wave Watcher or Brighton whenever they can.

PROFESSIONAL CLEANING
You’ll love arriving to a professionally cleaned home. The cleaning fee covers a standard departure clean – we ask guests to leave the home in a reasonable and tidy condition at check-out.
If you require extra cleaning during your stay or fresh bed linens or towels, it is available for a extra fee – just ask.

PETS
We love dogs, but not every guest does! To keep the home super clean and allergen-free, we have a no-pets policy.
