Bear Foot Lodge is a cozy cabin that embodies the perfect blend of rustic elegance and comfort. Tucked away in a tranquil forest setting, the cabin provides a private and secluded atmosphere for a truly immersive experience in nature. Surrounded by tall pines, the property offers a sense of serenity and seclusion, allowing you to reconnect with the beauty of the great outdoors. 

As you walk up a few steps to enter the cabin, you'll pass by quaint rocking chairs that are ideal for the morning cup of coffee and enjoying the fresh air. You will enter the cabin into the warm and inviting living area, complete with comfortable seating, a wood-burning fireplace, and a TV outfitted with Roku for all your streaming favorites as well as a sound bar!

The fully-equipped kitchen provides all the essentials for preparing delicious meals. In addition to your cooking and eating essentials, you will also enjoy a drip and a pod coffee maker (with a reusable pod for your convenience), George Foreman indoor grill, slow cooker, blender, toaster and hand mixer. The dining area offers a cozy spot to enjoy your culinary creations. You will find seating options that include a built-in banquette seating area as well as a modern iron and wood round table with barstools. 

Bear Foot Lodge boasts two well-appointed bedrooms each with their own comfortable queen beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Both rooms are tastefully decorated and provide a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the surrounding area. The third sleeping area is a pull out sofa in the living area featuring another queen mattress. The cabin includes a clean and modern bathroom with a shower as well as an additional half bathroom for convenience. 

One of the highlights of Bear Foot Lodge is its dog-friendly amenities. The property boasts a spacious fenced-in yard, allowing your furry friends to roam and play freely while you relax on the deck. Imagine sitting in the shade of the towering pines, enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, while your four-legged companions explore in a secure environment. Bear Foot Lodge is perfectly located less than 3 miles from the first parking area for Beavers Bend State Park and Nature Center, and near the heart of Hochatown providing easy access to a range of attractions and activities. This cabin is less than 3 miles from Girls Gone Wine, Grateful Head Pizza Oven & Taproom, Abendigo's, The Eat Out, Beavers Bend Brewery, Loblolly Chocolates, The Blue Rooster, Steven's Gap Restaurant, Beavers Bend Safari and so much more. If you are seeking outdoor adventures. Hochatown boasts thrilling outdoor activities such as zip-lining, ATV tours, and horseback riding. GUEST NOTES AND ADDED SERVICES:

F I R E W O O D : You can opt for bundles of firewood to be delivered to your cabin for your stay. 6-8 pieces (depending on size) for $20. Fee is colected after the reservation confirmation has been sent.
E A R L Y / L A T E: We may be able to offer early check-in or late check-out (2 additional hours) for $50 unless there is another reservation within 24 hours of your reservation. This must be requested and approved by your SkyRun host! We compensate our team additional funds for accommodating guest requests and coordinating their daily schedules and/or working after hours to help make this happen for our valued guests. Fee is collected after the reservation confirmation has been sent.
F i r e p l a c e s : Fireplaces are free to be enjoyed seasonally October 1st through April 30th. You are welcome to use the outdoor wood burning fire pit year round! No cooking or roasting marshmallows in any fireplaces, but please roast away on those wood burning fire pits! Tampering or turning on fireplaces outside of the seasonal window will result in fines.
WIFI AVAILABILITY: Wi-Fi is provided as a complimentary convenience for our guest; however, it is not considered an essential part of the rental. Refunds will not be issued for Wi-Fi-related issues including connectivity, speed, local outages, or accessibility.
