Waterfront note: This is a riverfront property with direct access. Please supervise children near the water at all times.
We provide guests access to our entire home. Guests can use all parts of our home including the laundry, the backyard space, the sun room and hot tub and the river. The shed is locked off and not accessible to guests.
We provide guests access to our high speed internet and offer free parking in our driveway.

The river front area is a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy however it is to be used at your own risk. There are no lifeguards present and children should not be left unattended without adult supervision.
The hot tub area has a locking door and we ask that if you have children to please keep it locked at all times and that all children be accompanied by an adult when enjoying the hot tub. The hot tub is to be used at your own risk. The hot tub should not be used by pregnant women or if you have any medical concerns such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart issues. We are not responsible for injuries or accidents.
There is a golden doodle next door that likes to be heard. He is a little noisy when you come in and out of the house. He lives outdoors all day. He is on an indivisible fence and knows his boundaries.
Important Property Notes & House Rules
The riverfront area is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the water; however, it is used at your own risk. There are no lifeguards on site, and children must be supervised by an adult at all times when near the water.
The hot tub area has a locking door. If children are staying with you, please keep this door locked when the hot tub is not in use. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times while using the hot tub. Use of the hot tub is at your own risk. The hot tub should not be used by pregnant women or by anyone with medical concerns, including high blood pressure, diabetes, heart conditions, diarrhea or other health-related issues. Guests are responsible for using the hot tub safely.
Please note that there is a golden doodle next door who may bark when guests are coming and going. He lives outdoors during the day and is on an invisible fence. He knows his boundaries but does like to make himself heard.
The kitchen is equipped with a compact 24-inch stove and does not have a hood vent. Please use care when cooking foods that may create smoke, steam, or strong odours.
Ye Olde Sailor is located in a natural country setting. During your stay, especially in the warmer months, you may encounter mosquitoes, black flies, ants, spiders, earwigs, mice, raccoons, skunks, or other wildlife and insects. We take preventative measures seriously and complete regular inspections. The home is also equipped with rodent deterrents and traps. Please do not unplug, remove, or relocate these devices. If they are moved during your stay, please ensure they are plugged back in before departure.
The screened-in porch is provided so guests can enjoy the outdoors more comfortably. Please keep both porch doors securely closed to help prevent insects from entering.
If you notice any pest or critter issue inside the home, please notify us right away so we can address it as quickly as possible.
Please understand that we cannot provide refunds for circumstances outside of our control, including weather, insects, seaweed, wildlife, or power outages. These are part of staying in a rural waterfront environment, and while we do our best to make your stay comfortable, they cannot always be prevented.
Ye Olde Sailor is not a party house. Parties, events, and unapproved visitors are not permitted. The property is limited to 6 registered guests unless prior approval has been given. Out of respect for the residential community, we ask all guests to enjoy the property responsibly.
There is a $50 per person, per night charge for approved groups larger than 6.
Starter supplies are provided for your stay. Once these supplies run out, any additional items are the responsibility of the guest.

BBQ and fire table are permitted only for intended use and must never be left unattended.
Fully extinguish all flames after use.
Fireworks and unauthorized flame devices are strictly prohibited.

Violation = minimum $1,500 cleaning fee.
🐾 Pets
Only allowed if pre-approved.
Damages or poop cleaning up will result in a $1,500 cleaning fee.
💰 Damages & Liability
Guests are fully responsible for all damages beyond normal wear and tear, including:
Fire, water, dock, hot tub, or sauna damage
Excessive cleaning
Loss of income due to property downtime
Charges may exceed deposits and be pursued through Airbnb and/or legal action.
