The kitchen, bathed in bright yellow tiles, boasts Italian slate surfaces, and is superbly equipped. From the Dartington Crystal glasses to Italian style coffee maker, every care has been taken to provide for your stay. The living and dining space has oak beams and flagstone flooring with a stunning fireplace housing a electric wood burner for those cosy evenings and original clome oven. Relax on the Loaf sofa and tune into your favourite show or read up on the local area and its heritage from the vast array of books at your disposal in the second sitting room, come reading room. With Parker Knoll sofa and one of the many impressive cast-iron radiators to keep you warm, this is a lovely room in which to spend some time recharging.

The bedroom is sublime, with a Vispring bed offering the flexibility of transforming into twin single beds; there is a private sitting area reached through the French window, perfect for morning coffee before your day of adventures begins. Wooden floors, Italian curtains and a wall mounted TV all add to the luxurious feel. There is an en-suite bathroom, with a double walk-in shower and a fabulous Burlington sink.

Outside, you have the full use of the enclosed cobbled and lawned courtyard garden. Kick back on the loungers and simply breathe away from your haven, visit both Strangles Beach or Crackington Haven beach, flanked by high cliffs and rugged scenery.

Take the renowned south-west coast path and discover some of the most incredible vistas in the county. You will be spoilt choice as to where to go first - choose from the town of Bude with its range of shops, amenities, restaurants and cafés, along with its own popular beaches and natural sea-pool; picture-perfect Boscastle, with its pretty cottages; Tintagel, with its legendary links to King Arthur; and bustling Padstow, where celebrity inspired chefs await alongside galleries and narrow streets.
