This home less than 4 miles from downtown Buena Vista. It is off of a county road, has a long driveway, and has a retreat vibe. Buena Vista is a charming town enveloped by majestic peaks and the winding Arkansas River. With its vibrant main street lined with colorful storefronts, restaurants, friendly locals, and a laid back atmosphere, this gem of a town offers a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Whether you are soaking in the hot springs, exploring the nearby hiking trails or simply savoring a cup of coffee at a cozy café, BV exudes a sense of warmth and authenticity that will leave you feeling right at home.


Welcome to The Bear’s Den — a warm and inviting mountain getaway where comfort meets Colorado charm. This spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath home offers the perfect setting for families, couples, or friends looking to relax and reconnect in beautiful Buena Vista.

The primary bedroom features a comfortable king bed and an ensuite bathroom for added privacy. The second bedroom has two twin beds, and the third has a queen bed. Each room is thoughtfully decorated with cozy mountain touches to make you feel right at home. The second full bathroom is conveniently located off the hallway.

The living room is a cozy retreat with a plush sectional and a large TV—ideal for movie nights or lazy mornings. A gas fireplace adds the perfect touch of warmth and ambiance on chilly mountain evenings. There’s also a separate sitting room surrounded by windows, offering mountain views, natural light, and a full-size pullout bed for extra sleeping space.

The updated kitchen makes cooking a breeze, with everything you need to prepare meals. Gather around the dining table for family dinners or enjoy a casual breakfast before a day of hiking or exploring town.

If you’re driving, there’s plenty of parking, and major highways make it simple to head out on day trips. For other options, rideshares like Uber and Lyft are available, along with local shuttles and taxis, so getting around is always a breeze!

Access: You'll receive a unique code for keyless entry.

Amenities: We provide an ample supply of essentials including paper towels, toilet paper, and plush towels to enhance your stay along with shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathrooms.

Parking: Please park on the driveway or on the street in front of the home.

No Smoking Policy: No smoking on the property at any time.

Holiday Check-In/Check-Out: No Check-In/Check-Out on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day. If booked for these dates, we will need to change the reservation.

Booking Far in Advance: If you'd like to book far in advance and beyond our regular booking window, please send us a message and we can provide you with a quote for your dates.

Pets are allowed at The Bear's Den, but we do add a $50 fee if you book with a pet. Please let us know in your message when you book, and we will send an updated reservation with the pet fee added.
