Wraparound porches and lots of poolside seating make this ocean-view home a top stop for guests looking to enjoy the beach! Jump into this home's fun, sparkling private pool or have a relaxing soak in the covered hot tub. You can shower off sand from the beach in the outdoor shower first, of course (it features both hot and cold water!). The private gas grill is available for cooking up your catch of the day, and the complimentary fish cleaning station will help with prep.

Inside, enjoy friendly, casual beach decor in central air conditioning. Enjoy views of the beach and ocean from - you guessed it - wraparound porches and balconies. Guests of the top-level bedroom can enjoy a private balcony of their own, plus an en suite bathroom with double sinks, a standalone shower, and a jetted tub. But every bedroom features a TV and Blu-Ray player to help guests unwind. When the sun goes down, head down to the private game room featuring a pool table and a TV.

Bedrooms for neighbors house

We were having a family reunion at a neighbors house. This house was used for bedrooms and two breakfast’s. There was only one couple the first and last nights. The rest of the nights there was nine adults. When we made breakfast, we used the grilled and toaster. When they were connected on the wall behind the sink they tripped the breaker. The guest book told us were to find the breaker box. The house was clean, but had two concerns. We had to clean a specula to used for breakfast and the foot rest on the back deck was broken. It was cold so we played pool inside. The pool table was was in a tight space. But it was fun anyway. We didn’t use either the pool or hot tub because of the cold weather.

We loved the amount of space in the house. The rear pool and patio area is terrific. Location near the beach, hatteras loghthouse, the grocery is super. Lots of dishes to cook and eat from. Some of them were not well cleaned - we just made a habit of cleaning the dishes before we used them. Management was easy to communicate with.

Spring Break in the Outer Banks

Location - literally in Buxton businesses were closed. The Cape Hatteras lighthouse was under repair so we could not climb it, mini putt places were closed, one restaurant/bar had over priced food and drinks. We had to drive an hour plus to do activities. House was great, but next time we will stay higher up.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Jetty Cottage.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Jetty Cottage. The house has everything you could need for an extended stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, rooms cozy and the pool area is spectacular. Our only issues came with check in and check out, due to conflicting information provided, but our questions were promptly answered. I would highly recommend staying at Jetty Cottage!!

Very Nice!

House was nice with more amenities than many, including a brand new Weber gas grill. The pool and pool area was awesome! Hot tub was no extra charge and nice. The owners are very nice as well as caring.

A Diamond in the Rough!

The property was immaculate upon entering the home. The layout was perfect with different age groups involved. Our 11 month old granddaughter went down for naps without being disrupted by the rest of the family. More than enough living space for our family without being on top of one another. The high ceilings made the feel of the home more spacious. The pool was a welcoming surprise for everyone. Our 8 year old granddaughter alsolutely loved the pool. Two days were total pool days and being from New Jersey that says a lot because we are "ocean people." Everything you needed was provided by this owner, everything. A well stocked kitchen with any device you could think of. Extra blankets, top of the line washer and dryer that most households don't even have at home. The walk to the beach is a breeze with a wagon to help with the load. If we return to the Outer Banks, we will definitely stay here again.

Overall a beautiful house and pool.

Started off a little bumpy when we arrived plenty after the 4pm check in and the house was not cleaned. In fact the cleaning crew had only started and was not finished with the lower level. We left to get groceries and according to the men we left there they finished about 5:30. The house had not been cleaned as well as I would have liked. You could tell they were in a hurry. They did refund our cleaning fee. I also think that the description of "ocean views" is a little bit of a stretch. The house was well-stocked. The area was less commercialized than the north end of the island BUT the one reason I might hesitate staying on the south end of the island again is there is no medical care there. My granddaughter fell and needed stitches and we had to drive 50 miles to Nags Head to go to the ER. I was shocked that the only ER or Urgent Care was that far away. I will make sure to check that out when I go on vacation again. It is a beautiful house and very nice pool.

Amazing spot for multiple couples

By far the best place to go if you're traveling with multiple families / couples. The 5 master bedrooms were absolutely amazing - everyone had their own space with bathrooms etc (even though I'm pretty sure we all used the outdoor shower more times than not! The pool and hot tub were key especially on the cloudy / rainy days when we didn't want to drive out onto the beach. Ramps 43 and 44 are super close by. The pool table kept the kids entertained. The kitchen - good lord the kitchen! You literally need to pack NOTHING! It is fully stocked with any and all gadgets and gizmos you could imagine! Super short walk to beach access if you are not getting an ORV permit. The stocked pond is right around the corner for some fresh water fishing. All in all the house was clean, welcoming and AMAZING.

Perfect beach getaway

The house was perfect for our friends and family beach getaway. Most days we went to the beach and hung out by the pool. Originally when I booked last summer there was a room in the upper master bedroom with a crib and I was disappointed to find out the door was locked. Luckily I contacted the realty company and they brought a pack a play to the house although this would have been nice if it were communicated. Also the owners changed from the time I had reserved to the time of our stay, which I felt would have been nice if it were communicated. Overall the house was perfect and all of our guests had a fantastic time!

Great beach house, nice pool and very comfortable beds.

We booked the beach house back in 2019 for the Memorial Day 2020 then Covid-19 closed the island to tourists which meant we couldn’t stay. We didn’t purchase the travel insurance so we asked what our options were, we were told that we could move the booking dates to 2021 and everything turned out great! We had an awesome time.

Buxton Hatteras stay

The place is nice, great pool area, great for fishing. Overall we enjoyed ourselves. The only complaint we have is the drier was broke and did not receive a heads up from the owners so that we could pack accordingly. Had to go buy more towels while our others hung dry. We had washed clothes all over everywhere in the house and porches drying. We managed though. Not an open floor plan. Short walk to the beach and local stores. Short drive to the light house. Bait shop right around the corner. Convenient to drive up on beach.

Spring Family Vacation

The house was in a great location with a view of the ocean and the Cape Hatteras lighthouse. The beach is only a short walk. Each bedroom has a bathroom, so that is also a plus. The pool area is nice with a lot of seating. Several restaurants are just a short drive. It is a great vacation house.

Awesome beach house!

Couldn’t be happier! We stayed for Thanksgiving and I was skeptical about the “fully stocked kitchen” because vacation rentals are usually light on cooking supplies and/or what is there is usually poor quality, but this property is the exception. We had everything we needed for a full on Thanksgiving spread.

We had a great time at this home. With each bedroom having an en suite bath, it was perfect for our family. A well appointed kitchen made meal preparation easy. The best part if all was the outdoor space, pool and hot tub.

Great Home for Families

This was such a beautiful, well maintained home to vacation in with a family/small children! It has everything you need. Crib, pack and play, high chair, rocking chair, kid friendly kitchen items, twin bed for a small child in the same room as mom/dad, etc. I only wish we came in the summer so we were able to enjoy the pool! The beach is a short walk away and there's a great view of the lighthouse right out the window! The owner was very communicative, friendly, accommodating and answered any questions we had promptly during our stay. Our daughter left her stuffed animal behind and the owner mailed it back to us, no questions asked. We are so appreciative and will definitely be back in the future for a longer trip! Thank you!

Fully equipped beach house

There was nothing that we needed during our stay that wasn’t provided in the house. Short walk around the corner to the beach was perfect for fishing and beach days. Perfect House for Large Family

This home is wonderful! All bedrooms have the most comfortable beds! The bathrooms in each bedroom room were great since we had multiple families staying together. The kitchen is well stocked and has a plenty of space. Our children made the most of the pool and hot tub, and the pool table gave us all something fun to do inside when we weren't in the water. Easy, close access to the beach, the lighthouse, & restaurants...even a skate park nearby! The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Everyone enjoyed it so much, we are planning on returning annually!
