When you arrive to The View At Happy Hollow, the beige exterior with red shutters set the house apart. A bright and cheerfully remodeled 1440 sq ft house (summer 2024) with a wall of sliding doors to the large 16' X 30' lakeside covered decks on both floors provide a close-up panoramic view of beautiful Dale Hollow Lake from the inside and the outside. You have found your happy place! A king primary bedroom and bath with walk in shower are on the top floor with deck access. The top floor offers an open plan Living / kitchen with 12' sliding door access; on the bottom floor there is one King bedroom with Lake View / Deck Access and a hall bath with tub / shower combo. Also on the first level is a flex room featuring an 86" TV for watching movies and colorful furniture for lounging.The green sofa / sleeper opens up to a queen size bed with a foam mattress. Walking towards the back of the flex room is a 6 top table with a view of the lake for dining or playing games. The kitchen features a bar with seating that lets guests chat with the cook. You can also cook outside on a large gas grill and lounge on the deck while enjoying the fire pit tables, the view, and the privacy. This house is pastel yellow and welcoming. It has been designed as a comfortable place to kick back, relax and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of nature on a quiet dead end road in Sherwood Shores. If you listen closely, you will hear a variety of owls hooting in evenings and early mornings and the birds sing all day from the heavy woods just off the deck. The lake inspired decor inside reflects all of the activities and nature found just outside. Up to a dozen squirrels, a variety of birds, and deer will often gather around the property. Enjoy the show! Dale Hollow Lake is considered the most beautiful lake in the state of Tennessee. It holds the world record for small mouth bass, 11 lbs 15 oz, and was voted the number one houseboating lake in North America by a leading publication. If being on the water is what you enjoy, come take advantage of the 27,700 acres of water and 620 miles of heavily wooded shoreline where development is restricted to marinas and day-use areas. The View At Happy Hollow is conveniently located just minutes from several marinas. The closest one (7 minutes away) is Sunset Marina. They rent pontoons, houseboats, other watercraft and dock space. Sunset has also recently opened a new restaurant. There is a separate off-road parking area to the left of the house for 2 trucks and boat trailers or an RV. you can also check with the marina about parking space if you rent a dock slip. !!! All bookings require Copies of Drivers Licenses for all adult guests staying in the property, a signed Rental Agreement, and $500 Security Deposit "HOLD" placed on your credit card. !!!

!!! There are 2 surveillance cameras on the property. One camera overlooks the front driveway. The second camera overlooks the side driveway. Both cameras record continuous video 24 hours per day - 7 days a week. Still images are recorded when the cameras detects motion.!!!

!!! Please note you are in a rural setting. We do have the property treated quarterly as a preventive measure, however there will be insects, Mosquitos, Ants, Spiders, Fleas, Ticks, Brown marmorated stink bugs, Gnats, Wasps, Spiders and Bees just to name a few. If any of the doors are left open, they will join you inside the property.!!!
