Das Casa Pergola ist ein liebevoll restauriertes Bauernhaus inmitten der wunderschönen sizilianischen Landschaft. Das Haus ist eine kurze Fahrt zu den StrĂ€nden und KĂŒstendörfern der NordkĂŒste. Das pulsierende Palermo, "Italiens Kulturstadt fĂŒr 2018", ist 30 Minuten entfernt und die StĂ€dte auf den HĂŒgeln des Madonie-Gebirges sind eine kurze Autofahrt in Richtung Osten entfernt. Im Winter gibt es Skifahren in den Bergen und schöne NĂ€chte am Kamin, der massiv und romantisch ist. Einige Annehmlichkeiten umfassen einen passiven, solarbeheizten Pool mit Fußbodenheizung und handgefertigte Duschmosaiken in den BĂ€dern. Die Schlafzimmer sind wunderschön und komfortabel.

Casa Pergola ist ein VergnĂŒgen fĂŒr Schwimmer. Ein privater 3,5 x 11 Meter großer Pool hier am Haus und wunderschöne StrĂ€nde mit alten TĂŒrmen und KĂŒstendörfern sind nicht weit entfernt. Wonderfully restful rural retreat

Beautiful converted olive mill. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. BBQ and outside dining / cabana next to the pool were ideal and much used. Paul and David were fabulous hosts. Very welcoming and responsive. A great stay!!

Stunning Setting

Paul is A... couldn't be kinder, and an extremely gracious host. Casa Pergola is a true Italian experience. The kids were in the heated pool everyday, thanks to lovely weather, which gave the adults time to relax and enjoy Italian wine and the beautiful vistas. Renting a 4 wheel drive is a must. The property is stunning. Paul and David have created a perfect house and garden which made for a lovely, relaxing holiday.Paul and David are excellent hosts, available with help and advice, but equally respectful of your privacy.Each bedroom has its own charm, all are very comfortable and clean.The house is well stocked with everything you could need, from spare deodorant to herbs and spices. Having the option of a meal prepared and served by Bruno and Giovanni is a real treat, we had a lovely dinner to celebrate my 50th. Do ensure you have an SUV and purchase the extra insurance as the “road” to the property is very bumpy, but it adds to the experience! The pool and outdoor lounge area are stunning. Gecko watching in the evening with a glass of wine was bliss! A simply perfect holiday location!

Wow wow wow. Firstly, Paul and David were the most amazing hosts, attentive, kind and providing recommendations for restaurants and shops, even making us a wonderful homemade pesto. The villa is amazing, homely, comfortable, beautifully furnished and has everything you need. The pool area is stunning, with cozy areas to soak up the incredible views. We had Chef Bruno cook for us one evening and what a treat that was! Caccamo is a wonderful old town which had a festival when we were there. The people are very friendly but bring your phrase book as very little English is spoken. Recommend an SUV to get around. We would love to return to the villa! Thank you to Paul and David for making our visit such an amazing experience!

Relax in Sicily

An amazing villa, full of character and style. Gorgeous outdoor pool and dining area with the most lush plants and greenery , little alcoves and fantastic views of the surrounding area. Inside there is everything you could need with super comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and air conditioning. Paul and David could not be more friendly and helpful in giving great local advice on beaches to visit and restaurants. Didn’t want to leave!

A Sanctuary in Sicily

Our relaxing accommodation for 10 days in Sicily was nothing short than a piece of paradise. Accommodation beautifully renovated with decor that complimented the old style olive mill. Beds exceptionally comfortable! Surrounding gardens a delight to explore. However, our hosts were beyond super! In fact they became like family always there when we needed them while also allowing for privacy. They helped our trip become unforgettable.

Our stay was amazing. The views could not be any better. The pictures do not do the house or the views justice. Every detail of the house was decorated and designed to perfection. Paul and David were accommodating in every way from helping us with attractions, directions, or just checking in to see if we needed anything. One evening I was looking for gluten free pizza for my son and they were so kind and bought my whole family pizza. If we needed anything, they came to bring it to us in a matter of minutes. They shared their delicious vegetation with us and even gave us the olive oil that was from their olive trees. They truly made us feel like we were a part of their family. Absolutely an amazing stay! Close enough to everything but away from the crowds

15 minutes from the coast in the hills with fantastic 180 degrees views overlooking Lake Caccamo and surrounding valleys. The villa has 3 spacious bedrooms with ensuites and rustic kitchen, dining lounge area with aircon. There’s a great outside entertaining area around the pool. Caccamo town is close and worth visiting. Cefalu and Palermo are also just 30 minutes away.

Spectacular Views and All the Comforts of Home

Casa Pergola is a a rare find: a beautiful comfortable home with sweeping views of a lake and mountains surrounded by olive groves, flowers and fruit trees. The outdoor space is incredible including a beautiful pool and outdoor fireplace and "family room ". The kitchen is great for cooking as well. Paul and David are fabulous hosts and feel like old friends and steered us the right way time and again including having Chef Bruno and Giovanni prepare a gourmet dinner. In all, a wonderful vacation you'll always cherish.

The most amazing Home!!!

The property made our trip A+++. The Owners are super attentive, friendly, and love their guests. Bruno our driver/chef/guide became family. We were able to experience Olive oil pressing, 1k year old winery, Greek ruins, hot springs, amazing food and sights in Palermo & Cefalu. The Castle of Caccamo all within >2hr driving distance from the home. The Home is amazing you feel it is 300yrs old with modern amenities. The attention to detail is superb. We will absolutely be coming back.

We spent 14 Days, three married couples around 70 years, on Paul and David's beautiful property in a beautiful Mediterraneum garden and a wide view of the reservoir and an agricultural area. Exceptional villa, exceptional host.

Our stay at Casa Pergola was literally perfect. This was not only the best villa we ever stayed in, but also the best host we ever met. Paul and David were so welcoming and always made sure we had everything we need to make this stay special. Casa Pergola is tastefully furnished and full of beautiful details. You can see how much effort these guys put into it. And the view is absolutely stunning. We loved everything about this. And as if that wasn't enough we were blown away by an amazing dinner served by chef Bruno and Giovani. Absolute recommendation!

Exceeded my high expectations

We couldn’t be happier with our stay. The home is beautiful, charming and unique, the setting divine and the owner anticipated our every need and then some. Were it possible to give 10 stars, I’d give them in every category! Caccamo is well located to explore the whole island (but it is a shame to leave the home) and the owner, who speaks English and Italian, knows Sicily and its most beautiful spots and is happy to point you in the right direction. Our Caccamo stay was perfect- we are so very fortunate to have been there - and have left there relaxed, renewed and ready to enjoy wonderful memories of an extraordinary stay.

We loved our stay at Casa Pergola. It is very comfortable as well as beautifully thoughtfully designed, with so many unique features mostly made or created by the 2 artist owners Paul and David. Our favourite place was the pool house— perfect through the scorching hot days and the evenings. Paul was extremely helpful , making suggestions where to go, how to get places even making reservations. We could not have chosen a more wonderful place. My wife and I stayed here in November 2025 along with another couple. As is noted in other reviews, the pictures don't do the villa justice and it is exactly as advertised. The road in and out (last few miles) is a bit difficult to traverse and renting a 4 wheel drive as suggested by the host is a very good idea. Other than that, the place is absolutely fantastic, including the location generally for touring around Sicily (in particular Palermo, Cefalu and surrounding areas). The villa is exceptional and fully stocked with everything required. Beyond that, the hosts (Paul and David) go above and beyond in every way, including facilitating everything you need for arrival, ensuring your every need is met and providing great recommendations for tour spots, wineries and restaurants (even making reservations). They are both amazing people and joined us a number of evenings for some wine around the outdoor fireplace. They also have a local chef they recommend for in-house dining - chef Bruno and his partner Giovanni and they are absolutely wonderful and the price is extremely reasonable (less than comparable meal at a restaurant) Probably the best meals we had in Italy were with them and we had them cook more than 4 evenings (would have been more but we did tour around a fair amount). Bruno also hosted a cooking class for us and it was brilliant. If you stay here having chef Bruno cook is an absolute must. Overall we can't rate the villa or Paul and David high enough.

Our week at Casa Pergola was nothing short of magical. My wife and I, along with another close couple, stayed seven days and were blown away by the beauty, comfort, and hospitality. Paul and David are exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and never intrusive. Paul met us at the main road and guided us in personally (tip: rent an SUV or 4WD for the final stretch).The villa is a beautifully restored 15th-century olive mill, spotless and full of charm. The grounds are immaculate, the views over the Sicilian hills and Lake Rosamarina are stunning, and the heated pool—adjusted to our exact preference—was perfect for lounging and relaxing.A highlight was dinner by Chef Bruno, who prepared a gourmet Sicilian meal right at the villa. Absolutely unforgettable!Whether you’re exploring nearby CefalĂč and Caccamo or just soaking in the tranquility of the property, Casa Pergola offers a five-star experience from start to finish. Paul and David accommodated every request, including a last-minute airport transfer, with ease and joy.We left relaxed, grateful, and already planning our return. Highly recommended!

Outstanding property in a great, quiet setting

We had a great, relaxing week in Paul's fantastic property. The view is special, over the reservoir and the olive trees to the village of Caccamo. The equipment is exceptional, everything is available for ambitious hobby cooks. In addition to the washing machine and dishwasher, drinks were also prepared for us, there was everything you could think of, including homemade olive oil. The outdoor seating is extremely comfortable , the pool was a great way for our children to cool off. The communication with Paul was uncomplicated and direct, in the end even a forgotten T-shirt was brought to us all the way to Palermo. We can only recommend the accommodation to everyone, we will gladly come back!
