Set beneath a beamed ceiling with an open fire set in a stone fireplace, the lounge invites relaxation after a day of adventuring. Next door, the bright and fresh kitchen features everything you need for your culinary adventures. Dine inside or out with a dining table next to patio doors and an outdoor table on the rear patio. When it’s time to rest your head, choose between a ground floor double bedroom, and a double or a twin on the first floor – please note that the upstairs double is accessed via the twin room. A family bathroom completes the accommodation.


Wander out from your front door to explore the atmospheric and tumbledown ruins of Ballycarbery Castle (just over 200 metres) and watch for marine birds and wildlife over the tidal flats. The stone forts of Cahergal & Leacanabuaile are both within a mile, while keen walkers will enjoy the Castlequin Loop Walk (2 miles). Set at the foot of Bentee Mountain, the scenic town of Cahersiveen (2 miles) boasts a selection of shops and eateries, and a bustling marina, while Star Wars fans can head to Portmagee (11.5 miles) to hop on a ferry to the Skellig Islands.
