The Space:

Thoughtfully set up for easy beachside stays, this pet-friendly home balances indoor comfort with generous outdoor living. The living area is cosy and comfortable, with a three-seater sofa, 40-inch Smart TV, air conditioning, and ceiling fans creating an easy space to rest after a day outdoors. Guests can access Netflix using their own login details. A dedicated corner for kids includes toys, books, and a small table and chairs to help keep little ones entertained indoors.



The fully equipped kitchen is ready for everything from simple breakfasts to family meals, with modern appliances and handy extras including a Nespresso coffee machine, air fryer, sandwich press, slow cooker, and rice cooker. Nearby, the dining table for four provides a welcoming setting for meals and conversation.



Embracing the laid-back beachside lifestyle, the outdoor spaces are made for spending time together. The spacious undercover patio features a dining setting, BBQ, and ceiling fans, creating a perfect spot for alfresco meals. The fully fenced yard offers ample space for kids and pets to roam freely. The star of the show is the spectacular 6,000-litre swim spa, a private resort experience right in your own backyard. Jet away the day's tensions, swim against the current, or simply soak and watch the sky change colour.



The two air-conditioned bedrooms have been thoughtfully prepared for a restful stay, each featuring a queen bed, quality linen, and blockout blinds. A sofa bed can be prepared on request for an additional child. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower and contemporary finishes, while the separate laundry with a washing machine, dryer, and ironing facilities adds convenience for longer visits.



Full air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout keep the home comfortable in every season. Off-street parking includes space for a boat or caravan. Please note that the swim spa is not heated.

During your stay, you and your group will have the entire house to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!



The Neighborhood:

Located in the laid-back seaside community of Machans Beach, this home places you within easy walking distance of the beach, local cafés, and the waterfront esplanade. Start the day with coffee and breakfast at Mayhem at Machans, just a two-minute walk away, or stroll a little further to O'Sheas Restaurant for casual dining and drinks. Families will love the children's playground and grassy sports fields along the Esplanade, perfect for picnics, outdoor games, or letting little ones burn off energy.



The area is popular for fishing, boating, and outdoor adventures. Cast a line along the mouth of the Barron River or fish from the rock wall along the Esplanade. Both the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and Smithfield Shopping Centre can be reached in around nine minutes. Nature lovers can explore the walking trails and birdlife at Cairns Cattana Wetlands, just 11 minutes away by car.



Getting Around:

Parking: Off-street parking is available, including space for a boat or caravan.



Airport: Cairns Airport is approximately an 11-minute drive away, making arrivals and departures easy.



Public Transport: The nearest bus stop is around a four-minute walk from the property.

Amenities

We provide a generous amount of amenities as a "start up" for your stay. These include shampoo, conditioner, body soap, dishwasher & laundry sheets, toilet paper, tissues, salt/pepper, cooking oil, tea, coffee & sugar. If your stay is longer than a few days, you will need to top up to suit your needs.



Linen/Towels

Our linen is hotel quality and professionally cleaned. Each guest is provided 1 bath towel and 1 pool towel. Additionally, we have bath mats, hand towels, and face washers. Please be sure to register the correct number of guests to ensure our linen provision suits your needs.



Bag Storage

Bag storage before or after your stay is available at Stasher Luggage (next to The Jack Hotel), 52 Spence Str, Cairns.
