Sehr schlechtes WLAN im Zimmer. WIFI ungesichert! Katzenfallen mit eingesperrten Tieren um Gartenareal! Verschimmelte Kühlschränke, vergammelte Badefliesen etc., Schmutzig. Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Verdient nicht die Bezeichnung 5-Sterne-Hotel! Abbildungen im Internet entsprechen nicht der Realität. Bilder stammen hauptsächlich vom Hotel Steigenberger Pyramids und nicht vom Hotel Cairo Pyramids, welches demnächst abgerissen werden soll und deshalb wohl nicht mehr viel instand gestellt wird. Im grossen und ganzen enttäuschend.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Essen war ok. Das Badezimmer wirkte hingegen etwas alt (Badewanne, Handtuchstange fiel heraus). Eigenartigerweise entspricht das Bild der Hotelanlage auf der Seite Ihreres emails gar nicht unserem Hotel. Alles in allem wars ok bis gut.

Close to Pyramids

Cons: Update to the bungalow room, was a bit out of date and could do with renewing some parts (door frames, bath and sink unit, though everything works
The hotel was spotlessly clean and constantly being cleaned and maintained inside and out. The food was good quality with a wide variety of fresh produce. Waiter service and staff very attentive, polite and helpful. There is an ATM on site for withdrawals. When travelling take Sterling and change at the airport for local currency for tipping (everyone expects this). Though not too much, use the ATM or use Sterling or Euros as everyone accepts this (except official centers, entrance to Pyramids, Museum etc). Take care using local taxis off the street, use the hotel or find a guide to take you around. I found a very good guide who charged £65.00 for full day sightseeing including taxi travel around also. Tipping, Porter Egyptian Pounds £10.00, taxi driver Egyptian Pounds £100.00 Good trip had and would go again

great hotel

Well.. it was one of the grest places in egypt and its closeness to the pyrimds make it good place to those who hope to get as much as they could from the ancient city.. the staff are very helpfull .. tow great swimming pools ... I would very much love to stay again in this hotel.

Not 5 star hotel it is about max 3 star they try to take double charges from us also the room very out dated not clean proper and very expensive room service charges water price 10 time the market outside tea 10 time the market price very rude customer service on and on.......

A long weekend at the pyramids

We were independent travellers [...] We stayed went for a long weekend to visit the Pyramids. The hotel was like an oasis - quiet and clean with good food and excellent staff.

The hotel management insets to charge my stay and refused the payment through the [...], they take double charge (Egyptian way of taking others money)
