Summary:
🌴 EXSTR Apartment • Riomaggiore 805 🏊🏽♂️
Brand-new studio apartment on the 8th floor in the Riomaggiore City Tower in Santa Teresita. This unit comes fully equipped with everything needed for great stay, including a high quality Euro King size bed, a well-equipped stocked kitchenette, safe, and SmartTV.
This building was made for short term rentals and comes with all the top requested amenities such as 24/7 security, elevators, parking (It is available at an additional cost), swimming pool.
The Space:
This is a newly built (June 2024) studio apartment. It is located in one of the best short term rental buildings that Cali has to offer, a brand new project called Riomaggiore in the Santa Teresita neighborhood.
The total size of the space is 29 m2 / 312 sqft.
The unit has a nice queen size bed, air conditioning and a SmartTV that connects to all the streaming apps. There is also a blackout screen to keep sunlight out and assure a good night's sleep.
The kitchenette is well outfitted with all the basics and a mini fridge.
There is a safe for your personal belongings plus iron and ironing board available in the closet.
The private balcony is the perfect place to chill with a cold drink on a warm, tropical day.
The WiFi is a 200 MB fiber optic connection with access to ethernet ports.
We have parking available on-site for an additional fee, located in the basement with elevator access.
Housekeeping is not included but can be arranged with at least one day’s notice.
The pool is on the 4th floor of the building. Pool hours are 9 am to 9 pm. The pool is closed for maintenance on Mondays. If Monday is a holiday, then it will be closed on Tuesdays.
The building has an electric backup generator and a water reserve tank making sure you will not be without basic utilities.
Guest Access:
Once you rent the apartment, the whole place is yours. Please respect the house rules at all times and remember that all guests must be registered with the building's security guard.
Building visitor policy:
All visitors must be registered with the building security at the front desk. Up to 2 visitors are permitted per reservation and must vacate the building by 11 pm. Visitors are not allowed to use the building common areas such as pool, steam bath, sauna or gym.
The Neighborhood:
The Santa Teresita residential neighborhood is located in one of the best parts of town near the Cali Zoo and bordering the El Peñon hotel and gastronomic zone.
Within a few blocks you will find the Super A supermarket with the Baraka Ancestral Bakery on top. Also nearby is the El Molino is a another local favorite, the El Molino Bakery and Calathea Ice Cream shop.
Crepes and Waffles is the perfect family restaurant and just two blocks away by the Hampton by Hilton hotel.
The Tertulia museum and Cali's famous Cat parks are only 10 minute walk from the building and once you make it there you might as well keep following the river to the Boulevard and the beautiful Ermita church.
Colonial San Antonio is located behind the hotel Intercontinental. In conclusion, there's plenty of things of interest to keep busy for days in this part of town.
Getting Around:
During the day, I suggest walking wherever possible. Enjoy the warm, eternal summer climate. Get to know the city. Explore!
If you're going further, then there are more than 20.000 taxis in Cali and they are very affordable. Minimum fare starts at 4.000 pesos. Uber, Cabify, Beat, WayCali and Didi are other similar services. Busses are plentiful but then to get very crowded.
At night, best to use a taxi / Uber / Didi.

Registration:
According to Colombian law, a photo ID must be presented for every person staying at the property. A signed rental agreement is required prior to entry.
Please note the apartment is in a residential building called Riomaggiore City Tower with security at the reception. We only operate the apartment, we do not administrate the building. The building requires a registration process separate from ours to gain access. You have to announce your group at the reception first and present identification.
For first time guests in Riomaggiore, the reception will have to add a picture profile of each person into their system. Similar to a gym or club membership.
After your arrival, your group may be asked again to identify themselves at the reception if they step in and out of the building. We recommend to have identification on you at all times.
Building Access For External Visitors (Effective May 1, 2026)
Riomaggiore has introduced a new building policy for visitor access.
Registered guests included in the reservation do not pay any additional fee.
External visitors must purchase a day pass for entry at $25,000 COP per person, per day.
Children under 12 are exempt.
The pass is issued by the building and includes access to the pool, steam bath, sauna, and gym. Payment can be made at reception via cash, QR, or bank transfer.
This is a building-wide rule set by the administration and not related to us a host.
Medical tourists:
Please inform If you are getting any medical procedure done while staying at our property. Damages to bedsheets and towels will be charged.
Airport pick-ups:
Let us know if you need help with airport transportation. We work with several top rated drivers and would be happy to arrange. They will wait for you, help with luggage and allow for one 15-minute stop on the way to a supermarket, ATM, etc. They know the exact location of the property making sure you won’t get lost.
Factura electrónica:
We issue a legal electronic invoice for the amount monetized in Colombia (after VRBO commissions). This complies with all the local regulation if you need to deduct your stay as a business expense.
Interruption in utilities:
This is the tropics and utilities such as electricity, water supply, and internet can experience interruptions from time to time. These potential situations are completely out of our control and are not cause for any refund. Luckily the building has a back-up water tank and electric plant for emergencies.
