3 Bedroom Jesus Green Townhouse with Parking

A fully-refurbished three bedroom townhouse overlooking Jesus Green in the historic heart of Cambridge city centre, with two parking spaces. This property provides a perfect base from which guests can explore the delights of Cambridge.

This incredible property is a huge 147 square metres in size (1582 square foot), and is spread over four floors.

The master bedroom on the top floor has a king size bed, dressing table, wardrobe and bedside table, along with a spacious ensuite bathroom. The private top floor balcony boasts views of Jesus Green to the left, and the famous Chapel of St John's College (one of the most recognisable buildings in Cambridge) to the right.

The second bedroom is located on the first floor, and has king size bed, dressing table, wardrobe and bedside table, along with an ensuite toilet, plus the added bonus of an additional small balcony overlooking Portugal Street. The third bedroom is also on the first floor and has full size bunk bed, dressing table, wardrobe and bedside table, along with a Juliet balcony that overlooks the rear garden, with views of the famous Varsity Hotel roof terrace. Next door to the third bedroom is the large family bathroom, with a bath (incorporating a full size shower screen), a sink and a toilet.

The main room on the ground floor is split into two open-plan sections. From the light-filled ‘study’ area at the front of the building, you can watch the world go by along Portugal Street through the large curved window, or catch up with some paperwork while sitting at the bureau writing table; while the living room itself is perfect for unwinding after a busy day of sightseeing, and contains a 55" smart TV, a coffee table, and two large sofas, along with patio doors that lead to a balcony area - with steps down to the garden. There is also a downstairs toilet on the ground floor.

The dining room in the basement is modern and spacious, with a large extendable dining table and six chairs, and well as a 43” smart TV and a comfy sofa for relaxing after dinner. The kitchen has recently been replaced, with brand new units and appliances throughout, and there is a fully equipped utility room next door, with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The rear kitchen door leads to a small paved courtyard, with steps up to the main garden.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, along with a Nest smart heating system to keep all area of the house at the perfect temperature.

Parking is provided via a space to the rear of the house, in the private Varsity Place car park, with an additional space also available inside the garden area, behind a lockable sliding wooden gate.

Perfect house for our stay

Spacious, clean, great location

A newer townhome with loads of natural lighting, good-sized rooms, and a wonderful open-plan kitchen/dining for group gatherings. Fully equipped kitchen, much-appreciated washer and dryer, and plenty of bathrooms. Two block walk to the docks and restaurants, five minute walk to the grocery store. Quiet neighborhood. Parking. Responsive owners. This place has been our most positive VRBO experience yet. May have restored my faith in VRBOs. We expected an additional four adults, who couldn't make it. They did come for dinner while we were there -- enough dishes for everyone and everything, and the dishwasher came in real handy. Honestly, not one negative thing to report. Awesome. Thank you.

Wonderful location!

The property is in an excellent central location with many cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops nearby. The flat was an excellent size, clean and for the most part comfortable. There were a few issues which if remedied would make it a 5 star experience. The bedroom pillows were very thin and uncomfortable, and our group did find the need to purchase our own. The en-suite shower on the top floor stopped working which meant we needed to take bats, which wasn’t very ideal. And, lastly, there is a strong smell of damp in the lower level, but perhaps that is expected in a basement, though it did irritate our sinuses. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we would return.

Wonderful property in a wonderful location

Our family (3 adults and 2 teenagers) really enjoyed staying at this luxurious home away from home, it was hard to leave. The spacious townhouse had bags of space for us all to spread out, and the air conditioning was a bonus in the recent hot weather. The location was perfect for exploring everything Cambridge has to offer, its a 2 mins walk from punting and the main street, 5 mins from the colleges and 15 mins walk to the impressive Fitzwilliam Museum. Communication with the hosts was friendly and responsive. If we are lucky enough to return to Cambridge we will stay here again!

Excellent location and lovely accommodation

This was our first trip to Cambridge to visit our daughter, who's studying there. We wanted something within easy walking distance to the high street area. We loved this home! Its location is literally a block and œ to the shopping areas. Although it's tucked amongst some college housing, (It's important to note that the entire town is filled with college housing tucked among private homes), it was very quiet and had no issues at all. Communication with Hannah was easy and she was very responsive. The multi-level attached villa seems to have been recently refurbished. Everything is new, immaculate, and clean. I'm extremely picky about cleanliness in accommodations and this home did not disappoint. It's modern, beautifully styled, and comfortable. The kitchen was very well-stocked and we were able to prepare several meals as well as bring in takeaway food. The beds were comfortable, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious. Note that the bedrooms are one and two floors up, which does allow for privacy. The kitchen, laundry room, and dining are on the lower level. Anyone having issues navigating stairs might struggle a bit. We loved having a washer and dryer. The living area is well-styled, and the entire home offers plenty of natural light. We will likely stay here again when we return to visit our daughter. We'd recommend this property!

Lovely house in central location

The house is lovely and clean and seems to be newly refurbished. to a high standard. Hannah was very helpful before our check in especially when some of our group got lost in Cambridge and couldn't find the house! The house is only a few minutes walk to the centre and next to a big park which has a small play area for younger kids. The only feedback I have is that we could have done with a sieve and dish draining rack in the kitchen. Also if you are planning to do a big food shop to be delivered the fridge is smaller than expected. All in all a great house and would certainly recommend.

Fantastic place, great location and really good owner

Stayed for 4 days in September Location 5 * ++ this place is in a great location in a quiet street close to Jesus Green, but very close to the city centre and university, with numerous bars and restaurants . We did not need the car for our stay Facilities 5 * very well equipped especially the kitchen basement, the lounge has a smart TV and good WiFi. Bedrooms 5* very comfy and the A/C is great! Bathrooms 3* very clean and spacious, the only disappointment being that the shower was little fiddly to get the correct temperature . Owner 5 ^ + Hannah was great, quick to resolve a small problem we had and very very fast to respond, all we could ask for. I have no problem in recommending this property and would be happy to stay there again
