Location can't be beat, plenty of space for our family (3 adults and 2 young kids). Check-in was easy, pool is nice.The space desperately needs a deep clean and some minor repairs. Years of grime is caked onto every surface, the walls are crumbling, and the linens/towels are tattered and stained. We asked the host to come clean the floors, which they promptly did, but that only went so far.The kitchen is functional, but just barely. There's one incredibly dull knife, a cooktop with only one functional burner, a toaster that cooks one side of one piece of bread... But a fine fridge, microwave, blender, coffee maker, cups, plates, utensils, etc.The laundry is functional, but no detergent is provided. Had to go track some down late at night.The AC works great, but we preferred the recommended cross breeze at night. The beds were decently comfortable. I'm glad we didn't encounter cockroaches until the early morning of our checkout day. They really freaked the kids out, and we saw several 2" long and skittering around in the kitchen, up the bedroom walls, in the bathroom... I managed to trap one under a cup, which placated the children as we prepared to depart. Overall we were comfortable enough in the space for a week visit. The island is incredible for a sleepy couple of days at the beach. The cost was definitely steep for the lack of care this space has clearly been getting though.
