Our group of six stayed here for three nights during a girls’ pre-wedding planning getaway, and overall, it ended up being a really memorable and enjoyable experience.The home itself is beautiful, spacious, and very well laid out—perfect for a group gathering like ours. We had plenty of room to spread out for crafts, games, and relaxing together, and the location couldn’t have been better. One of our favorite features was the back porch area, where we spent almost every evening. With the fire pit and TV, it created such a cozy and relaxing atmosphere that really made the trip special.When we first arrived, however, the home had not been cleaned from the previous guests. It was clear they had left it in rough condition, so we spent a couple of hours cleaning, washing linens, and taking care of dishes before we could fully settle in. While this was not ideal and did make us a bit hesitant about using some items during our stay, we appreciated that the owner was responsive and apologetic. Although he is remote, he arranged for someone local to come assist, and they were also very apologetic and helpful. They returned the next day as well to address a drainage issue we encountered, which we appreciated.In the end, the owner made things right by refunding our cleaning deposit, which we felt was a fair resolution.Despite the initial hiccup, the home itself, the amenities, and the overall experience made for a wonderful trip.
