The home is located just a short 10 minute drive into Orange, where you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to shopping, bars, cafes, restaurants, parks and more.



Mount Canobolas is a five minute drive away, where you can enjoy a scenic lake walk and stop by the kiosk and café. Nearby, you'll also find Fiorini’s, a hidden gem serving some of Orange’s most authentic Italian cuisine that is loved by locals. Wine enthusiasts can reach some of the region's award-winning wineries such as Borrodell Cellar Door (5 mins), Rowlee Wines (6 mins), See Saw (7 mins), and Printhie Wines (9 mins). The Federal Falls hiking track is a 13 minute drive from the cottage.

Other Things to Note:

As the farm is surrounded by working orchards, you may occasionally hear what sounds like gunshots going off only during the day as this scares off the birds to stop them from damaging the fruit. Please reach out to us if you need to know any more information regarding this.



Fireplace: This property features a fireplace and/or firepit for you to enjoy during your stay. Please note that firewood is not provided.



There are several local shops where you can purchase firewood on your way into town, or if you prefer, we’d be happy to arrange this for you through the Boarding Pass link included in your booking confirmation and other correspondence from us.
