The manager was kind and helpful to us. I don’t like to be a complainer but when we arrived the bedding was unchanged and the cover was visibly soiled as though a dog or something had been rolling on it with dirt. The manager quickly changed the bedding. The outdoor spaces were misrepresented. The pictures must have been old because these spaces were in disrepair and untended. Two stars seems more fitting but the label for that was “terrible.” It wasn’t “terrible.” It was disappointing. It was not worth the cost, and felt like going to a a sloppy relative’s house rather than the nice retreat we were expecting. We cancelled the remainder of our reservation as quickly we found a more fitting retreat. They reimbursed us for the cleaning fee and one day stay though we left with four days unused.
