Located in Kealakekua Bay, a protected marine sanctuary and an ideal spot for snorkeling, diving, and kayaking, this 2BR/2BA oceanfront property is lovingly named Kaikanani (the beautiful sea) and sits right on the water’s edge. Look no further, you’ve found your home in paradise!



With breathtaking ocean views from every bedroom, this rental is perfect for a family or group of friends. From the minute you arrive, you’ll feel that laid-back aloha vibe. Enjoy a tropical drink while you grill on the patio by the sea.



Rent kayaks from the vendor next door, go snorkeling, or take a guided tour to learn about the nearby cliff caves. Coffee lovers won’t want to miss a chance to tour a local farm in Kona Coffee Country. Walk just steps to secluded Manini Beach.



ABOUT THE HOME



This plantation-style home boasts hardwood floors, wicker décor, and vaulted ceilings. Open the sliding doors in the living room to enjoy the island breeze and kick back on the sofa, love seat, and two chairs. Play the provided board games or watch a movie on the 32” TV.



Enjoy fresh caught seafood and locally grown tropical fruits. The open kitchen has everything you need to prepare tasty home-cooked fare. Gaze out at the sea while preparing favorite recipes, or make use of the charcoal grill on the patio for a memorable alfresco meal. Enjoy a pre-dinner drink at the kitchen bar with seating for four, then gather at the six-person dining table—which offers more magnificent views.



After dinner, unwind on the lanai with seating for four and watch for passing dolphins and whales.



All of the bedrooms offer gorgeous ocean views.



The master bedroom -- just off the living room -- has a king bed, vaulted ceilings, and a ceiling fan. Open the sliding glass door to the lanai and listen to the soothing sounds of the ocean. The en-suite bathroom includes a walk-in shower. A door to the hall lets this double as a guest bathroom.



The first-floor guest rooms are completely separate from the main living area and are accessed through the garage. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a ceiling fan. Another sleeping space has a king bed, a ceiling fan, and a sliding glass door to the patio. The downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower.

My family stayed here over Spring break, right at the tail end of the Kona low. We lost a day due to the storm but loved our stay! The location of this house is just amazing, you could not possibly be closer to the water. It was too rough to snorkel or swim when we there(again because other storm) but there was a tide pool right in front of the house that we could go in at low tide which was great. The house was so well stocked, even had a coffee grinder for delicious local coffee. The lock on the door is a little tricky, we ended up calling for help on our arrival, but they answered and helped even at about 11 pm and we got the hang of it after that. We loved Captain Cook and had great food at The Coffee Shack and Kaaloa’s Super J which were pretty close. We would absolutely stay here again if/when we are back on the big island.

This house was fantastic! It was very clean, comfortable and accommodating. It was so lovely to sit on the porch in comfortable chairs and look out over the beach each morning in the evening. The place was clean, the kitchen was fully equipped, and there was easy access to Snorkeling from Manini Beach Park. This is one is a keeper, and we will definitely be returning.

Perfect Location!

We loved the location of the house. The house has that old Hawaii feel. The newly updated kitchen countertops were a plus! No issues with the property. Will book again next year.

Breathtaker, as advertised

This is an amazing place to be. Such a short walk (less then 1min) to Manini Beach and good snorkeling access to the amazing marine protected Kealakakua Bay. Relax on the porch and head back for more time in the water. Can't wait to visit again.

This is the most peaceful, beautiful spot. The home is super comfortable and spacious for the 6 of us who stayed. It's definitely not fancy, but feels really real and local. The house itself is secure. The bedding and linens are decent. The furniture is comfortable. The kitchen is really well stocked for cooking in. The neighbors were really nice and we never had a noise issue with anyone in the area. The little beach steps away is super sweet and clean and provides great entry to swimming in the bay. We will definitely be renting this house again.

Beautiful view and plenty of amenities

The view is priceless, we used boogie boards and were supplied plenty of towels. The oven is modern and has an air fryer capability. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates and so forth. Area was nice. Very relaxing and plenty of room. Loved how there is a bathroom downstairs for the two guest rooms.
