The Eden Hideaway is a self-contained glamping pod beautifully crafted by a local company and enjoys stunning views straight over the River Eden onto the Lake District fells. Decorated in a modern country style The Eden Hideaway feels incredibly spacious with fantastic head height and plenty of light from the double glazed lockable French doors, making the most of those incredible views and a small rear window. As you enter through the French doors there is a comfortable sofa and a small kitchenette where you can prepare a simple meal. The kingsize bed is sumptuous and complimented by fresh linen sheets and duvet and there is a stylish, spacious shower room with shower cubicle, vanity unit and heated towel rail.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this newly built wooden pod provides a comfortable, warm and cosy stay for people looking for a countryside retreat to relax and unwind in. Situated on Castletown Estate you can walk out of the garden gate and straight onto the river side with access to walks not publicly available. For those who love to explore the outdoors but want to come home to somewhere warm and cosy, then The Eden Hideaway could be just what you are looking for. It is the perfect place for outdoor adventures, coastal or river walks and birdwatching.

Whilst you have the tranquillity at The Eden Hideaway you are only minutes by car from the M6 thereby ideally placed to enjoy one of the most beautiful regions in the UK. From here you can not only enjoy the beauty of this area but also a quick drive will take you over the border into Scotland with its miles of dramatic coastline.

Whilst staying at The Eden Hideaway explore the many delights of Cumbria, a must is a visit to Hadrian’s Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you can explore the history of the wall and its dramatic landscape at over 20 fascinating sites. Or why not make a day of exploring the beauty of the Lake District National Park with its stunning mountains and lakes? Close by of course is the beautiful border city of Carlisle with its 12th-century cathedral and 11th-century castle, it’s a lovely city to explore and of course, great for a spot of retail therapy.
