Wonderful location, 3 block walk to the beach, so that was perfect for us! Just a few minutes drive from local restaurants. (I highly recommend the SeaWitch!) The rental unit was clean and perfect for what my husband and I needed!I will say I was just a little disappointed that there was no hand soap for the bathroom. Also, a coffee-pod machine was provided but no pods. It would have been nice to have just a couple provided since we got in after midnight, but we were able to find some quickly the next morning in town. The only complaint I have about the property itself is that the parking and commons area does not have working electricity, so it is DARK! I did reach out to see if there was a switch we didn't find, but the one that was supposed to control the lights did not work. The host was going to talk to her husband and get back to me, but did not. Great location, great price, great stay! Would love to return in the future!

Cute! This cottage was perfect for our two night stay in Carolina Beach. Great location! Easy access to the beach. Wilmington & Wrightsville Beach are not too far. Enjoyed antique shopping & the local restaurants. The best seafood is at Michael’s Seafood & best pizza is at Riko’s.

My wife and I thought it was just a perfect fit for us. It filled our needs perfectly, walking distance to the beach, and near many of the local restaurants and gift shops. Room was very clean and decorated nicely. Covered parking was another great feature.

We had a good stay where the unit was clean and easily accessible. However, we didn’t receive any check in instructions prior to arrival. We only received a call at 5PM with the code to the unit. There were no check out instructions either. On the night we stayed, which we heard happens frequently, the main road flooded from high tide and we couldn’t access the house. The host did not provide any heads up information regarding this issue and we had to contact them late at night. We ended up having to park the car at the beach and walk to the house around the flooded areas.

The location was lovely. We were at the beach under 5 mins. The property was clean and easily accessible. It was cozy with basics available for use. There is an outdoor at the location which was a plus. Less sand in the room. The bed was comfortable. The only downside is that I was unable to dry my hair and use air conditioning at the same time. It was cute and very small that didn't bother me. We couldn't use the microwave because it tripped the breaker and turned off the air conditioner. We took our air fryer but there wasn't enough room on the counter to use it. The people in the main house cooked a lot and the smells traveled through the vent to our room. The beach access on this end isn't old person friendly. Huge boulders to climb over, so we had to go south for the beach and pay to park. Which we did and still got a parking ticket,

Carolina Beach tiny room

This is one block off the ocean room is exactly as described. The steps up to the room have no light at night . There is a solar light out there but it wasn’t working. The view you have from the porch is of all the other backyards around you . It was great for the price and large enough for 2 adults.
