Villa Vinarte, this expansive Villa and Wine estate is the ultimate in Italian luxury, style, comfort. Situated near the boundaries where Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio meet you will find 31 acres of heaven. Drive along endless rows of vines to the entry driveway, then through vineyard rows stretching to what seems like infinity! From the vines, the first glimpse of the glorious gardens bathed in a magical Italian light will confirm to you beyond doubt that you have arrived! Really arrived!



The gardens are crowned by a breath-taking sculpture collection beautifully set into a landscaped garden of Mediterranean flowers  and plants. The whole is set into a setting beyond compare looking out over valleys and hills created throughout the ages. In addition to the artful vineyard of 31 hectare, there is a stunning cellar where the estate’s excellent wines are produced. Underground passages ways make for an spectacular candlelit journey from the Villa through the cellars, the archways, and finally, to an elegant tasting room. They staging can be done at your request and to perfection.



The villa, dating back to the 16th century now offers 7 double bedrooms and suites in the long double wings of the main villa, plus 4 additional bedrooms in the annex. The Villa may be booked with 7 bedrooms or 8. The views are unusual and spectacular as they look out over the "calanchi" these steep narrow valleys created over thousands of years.

On the Entry floor there are three spacious, elegant, inter-connected reception rooms, all displaying the incredibly good taste and style as well as the love of art and beauty of the owners. They face onto the enormous main living-iroom which enjoys spectacularly large picture windows taking advantage of the setting. The kitchen is equipped for Chefs but in a traditional style, with an eat-in table for tastings, lessons, or the do-it yourself moment. This kitchen offers everything a Chef, professional or amateur could demand, including a full set of chef’s knives! Outside the kitchen, a spacious pergola holds a table for 12 and a small outdoor living space.

 

The bedrooms are each luxuriously and individually decorated, each in it’s own style, and each with a telephone, air conditioning, satellite TV and screened windows. The bathrooms are all delightful and finished to a high standard. The large, glassed, indoor swimming pool (heated when necessary) looks out onto the garden and the scene beyond. Its protective glass window-doosr that can be partially opened when appropriate. Adjacent to to the swimming pool a large pergola provides a welcoming space as an outdoor dining venue. On the entry side of the swimming pool a large sitting room makes a great gathering spot with comfortable seating, a fireplace and a plasma screen TV. A second outdoor pool is in the garden.

 

Steam baths, spas, tennis, hikes, cooking classes, wine classes, and tasting delicious meals cooked by a skilled Italian Chef are available onsite as are wellness therapists who can offer invigorating week-long spa retreats focussing on detox food, yoga and fitness.  

Off site, is Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio at your doorstep. Civita di Bagnoregio, a world heritage site and perched village reached by a modern bridge is a stone’s throw. Beautiful Orvieto is 20 minutes away, and Rome just over an hour. Lake of Bolsena is a short drive for a beautiful lake for swimming and boating next to a Medieval time.
