A beautiful Desert Princess Country Club Condo, with a nice view of the mountains, overlooking the golf course. A lovely south facing, 851 sqft, one bedroom (single master suite), with California King size bed, two full bathrooms, condo off the 9th fairway at Desert Princess Country Club. It is an end unit and gives you a quiet and peaceful entertaining patio. Private park like setting with beautiful mountain and water views. Very close to community pool/spa. Just a short walk to Hilton hotel bar/restaurant and clubhouse. Carpeted throughout. Desert Princess Country Club and Resort has a 27 hole championship golf course, 10 tennis courts, 32 community pools, updated fitness center, on site day spa, and recently remodeled clubhouse and clubroom. Only minutes from downtown Palm Springs and the Palm Springs airport.

Other information:

If you are in to fresh air and beautiful natural scenery, then the desert is for you. With mountain views in the backdrop, you will be sitting on the patio relaxing and overlooking a lush green golf course, with fountains of water in the course lake. If you are also in to keeping in shape, the Desert Princess Country Club and Resort is the place for you. Besides the golf, you can also bike ride inside the resorts guarded complex. There are also Class-A tennis courts, a pickle-ball court, racquetball courts, many swimming and lap pools, and a top-notch expansive fitness and weights facility. For hiking, head out to the many hiking trails that start in the local mountain foothills. You can also ride the Tram up to the top of the San Jacinto Mountains. The aerial tram travels two and one half miles up the mountain to a pristine wilderness aboard the World’s Largest Rotating Tramcars. From there the hiking is endless. After all of the fitness activities, head to the spa for some pampering.

For entertainment, the casinos are right downtown about 7 miles away. In Palm Springs the Annenberg Theater presents some of the finest performers from the world of music, drama, comedy, opera, and dance.

You will feel like you are on vacation your entire visit.


The Community of Desert Princess & HOA Rules and Regulations...

Have a nice time, but please have respect for the other neighbors of the Desert Princess. Most are permanent residents, and this is their home. Keep the noise level reasonable, and especially at night. Also please keep the back area clear of the games and other personal items after you are finished with them. No outdoor music, radios, musical instruments, or other devices that produces or reproduces sound is allowed to be used outdoors at any time of the day. If used indoors, such sound shall not be heard beyond the property line.
The use of outdoor amenities and/or outdoor games or any outdoor activities that create noise between the hours of 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. is prohibited. The first $150 of electricity is covered in the rental, anything over that is paid by the renter. If you are booking in October, know that starting the first week of October they let the golf course area grass die so they can overseed for the upcoming golf season. But at least nine holes will be open during the overseeding.

There is growing momentum in the Coachella Valley, and in Cathedral City, to impose restrictions on Short Term Vacation Rentals (STVR), and my unit falls into this category. In my experience with the rental of my unit, I have been very fortunate to have responsible tenants and have not had any complaints, but I also need to share the following information. Any fees & fines that are imposed will be the responsibility of the renting tenant.

With these new restrictions comes some new rules to follow:

1. All guests must receive and review the document “Desert Princess Palm Springs Governing Documents”. As part of the rental agreement you must acknowledge you have reviewed the document and agree to these terms.

2. A $200 service fee shall be instituted for rental properties where the Desert Princess Patrol Services find it necessary to call Cathedral City Police or STVR Hotline to respond to a noise problem. This fee will be the responsibility of the tenant.

3. There is a strict occupancy limit of 2 persons for overnight stays and 4 persons for non-overnight stays.

4. There is a color-coded vehicle pass system for vehicles.

5. People in the area are extremely sensitive to noise, especially when music is up too loud. Please keep the conversations and audio equipment to a reasonable level, on the patio or at the pool, and either inside or outside, and no loud music is allowed at any time.

6. There shall not be any outdoor games and activities that create noise during the hours of 10pm and 8am.

7. As a part of the rental agreement, the following must be provided to the

HOA prior to occupancy:

a. Main tenant:

i. Name

ii. Address

iii. Phone number

iv. A valid government ID and Number. (e.g. Drivers License

number)

b. Names of all occupants.

c. Identity of all vehicles in the renting party. This will be submitted to

the patrol services.

i. Vehicle make/model.

ii. License plate number.

A maximum of 1 vehicle for this unit is allowed.

For stays of less than 30 nights, the rates are subject to a Cathedral City imposed Transient Occupancy Tax of 12% and Palm Springs for an extra 1%.

100% refund if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
50% refund (minus service fee) if you cancel at least 14 days before check-in.
No refund if you cancel less than 14 days before check-in.

Having just put down our dog of 17 years we needed to get away. This lovely condo was what we needed. Unfortunately it was very Windy with dusty air 2 of the 3 days keeping us from enjoying the outdoors. (That’s the desert) It was really nice the day we left.

Delightful Stay

We were very happy with our stay! We celebrated my husband's birthday by visiting Palm Springs, Joshua Tree National Park, Idyllwild Pine Cove and mineral spas. The condo was very nice as were the grounds and pools! They even have a lap pool available on the property. We would stay again!

Has a nice stay at Desert Princess

My husband and I planned a getaway to the desert on our way to an event in So Cal. We chose Desert Princess due to its location and amenities. The condo is spacious for a one bedroom and the extra bathroom was a nice-to-have when we hosted guests for lunch. The property is quiet and welcoming and my husband enjoyed receiving the "renter discount" on a round of golf. The condo is well-equipped. There are lots of linens available and we found all the kitchen tools we needed to prepare simple meals. Some items are a bit worn, but hey, it's a rental so that is to be expected. Our host, Jeff, was extremely responsive when we had questions. We couldn't have asked for more from him. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this condo as it's a good value for the location and amenities.

The best landlords ever!!!

I am amazed at some of the negative remarks from a previous guest. We had a couple of small issues (how to set up the TV or work the air conditioning controls etc etc) All we had to do was mention it to him and he actually drove a long distance from his home in the same evening to look after it and show us how to work them. After spending several previous winter vacations I can honestly say we have never had such a fantastic landlord. We will be back for sure!!!!!!

An Oasis in Paradise

I booked this condo during Coachella weekend, and it was so perfect for me, my boyfriend, and the dog. The condo is located in a guard gated community, so we felt safe. There was a beautiful view of the golf course, and a pool nearby. We weren’t able to discover the whole community, but apparently there’s a lot of other pools nearby as well. Jeff’s place is very comfortable and provided a lot of amenities for us. There was plenty of blankets and towels provided. I highly recommend this condo if you’re ever visiting the Palm Springs area!
