Just 35 minutes from the popular Kaaterskill Falls & Hunter Mountain! In the summer and fall, the Falls are a must-see. 4-minutes to downtown Catskill with shops and strolling galore, 4-minutes to downtown Athens for architecture goggling, food and wine, and the scenic Hudson Riverfront Park, eat at The Stewart House outdoor Bar/Grille, Crossroads Brewery, or Food Studio.

In the winter, Hunter Mountain offers skiing, snowboarding, sledding, winter hikes , snow shoeing, and other outdoor activities.

The house is a short 10-minute drive to downtown Hudson for all your shopping, dining, and cultural needs. Plus, there is a grocery store and Walmart a few minutes drive away.

Here's a snapshot of a typical day staying in the Catskill Antique Farmhouse - wake up, drink some of the superb local coffee we provide for guests, visit one of the many local farmers' markets to get some delicious local fruit, veggies, and free-range meats and poultry. Then take a drive through the Catskills to score some amazing finds at an estate sale, go on a bike ride over the breathtaking Hudson river to historic Olana (just a 5-minute drive away!), followed by a leisurely lunch at Gaskins, a little hidden oasis in the middle of nowhere. You can grab craft beer and a slice of incredible wood-fired pizza at Subversive Brewery in Catskill before your afternoon nap. Then visit an art opening at a new gallery in Hudson and go shopping for unique products created by local artisans along infamous Warren Street. Then treat yourself to an amazing dinner at atmospheric farm-to-table restaurant Feast & Floret, with cultured ice cream from Culture Cream for dessert, and grab a bottle of fantastic wine at Grapefruit Wines in Hudson, or at the sweet wine shop in Athens, just a 4-minute drive down the road on your way home. Finally, you end your day drinking your cuvee by the cozy indoor fireplace or firepit in the private and lovingly landscaped backyard, as you gaze at the stars and plan your adventures for the next day.
