*Kayaks Included: 2 kayaks with paddles are included with your reservation.

*Kayak Launching Area: Launch directly from the backyard, explore the lush waters of the bay or head out to the Gulf to explore the other islands.

*Fishing Paradise: Use our covered dock for fishing and clean your catch at the dedicated fish cleaning station.

*Outdoor Space: The large yard provides areas of sun and shade with seating.

*Fire pit: Enjoy the warm evenings by the water with a private fire pit.

*Bird Watching: As the tide changes through the day you`ll see birds of all kinds, including the pink Roseate Spoonbill

*Convenience for Boaters: We offer pull-through parking and ample space for your boat to be stored during your stay. NOTE the boat lift is not for guest use

*Bring your furry friends along! Our home is designed to welcome dogs, ensuring a fun-filled vacation for the entire family. We just ask that they stay off the furniture and they are picked up after.



Living Spaces

Upstairs - Main Living Area:

*Bedrooms: Two cozy bedrooms, one with a queen bed, adjustable 55” TV, and the other with a Cal King bed. Both rooms include silky white sheets, cozy comforters, mini splits for personalized climate control, closets, and ceiling fans.

*Bathroom: A full bathroom with a walk-in shower and single sink offers modern comforts.

*Kitchen & Dining: Fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and ice maker, adjacent to a dining area for four.

*Living Room: Unwind with a reclining sofa and chair, smart TV, and stunning view. The living room opens to an outdoor area furnished with zero gravity chairs.

*Downstairs: On the ground floor you will find a full-sized washer and dryer along with a convenient half bath for when you are enjoying your time out in the yard or on the dock. the dock. Also on this level is additional seating and a charcoal grill.



Guests have the entire property to themselves. The upper story is holds the main living and sleeping areas, the lower story holds a half bath and the laundry. Guests are welcome to use the yard and boat dock but will not have use of the boat lift.



McCormick Management Company has a Cedar Key office open 7 days a week to answer questions or help with any problems you may have while here. All of our homes are equipped with smart locks so you can check in and out as you please!



Set off a quite road, the property feels private and the only sounds you hear are the birds. Sunrise Cottage is located 2 miles from downtown Cedar Key. You are also only 2 blocks from Cedar Key Museum State Park. The area is great to walk, bike or golf cart so feel free to explore however you see fit!



Notes:

*Guests will climb a flight of exterior stairs to access the home.

*While curtains are present in the bedrooms for privacy, the living area remains open to maximize the stunning bay views.

*The Cal king in the main bedroom sits higher than usual at 32` high.

*There is a dehumidifier in the main living area that can be used to lighten up the southern air.

*The dock and the kayak launch are inaccessible when there are minus tides due to no water.

*There is no swimming off the dock.

*Dogs only, no other animals
