The Space:

KITCHEN



The fully equipped kitchen, adjacent to the living room, is a chef's delight. It boasts state-of-the-art appliances, a spacious island with barstool seating, and counter space. Whether you're preparing a casual breakfast or a gourmet dinner, the kitchen is well-equipped to meet your culinary desires.



BEDROOMS



The master bedroom, strategically positioned to offer privacy and convenience, is a sanctuary of comfort. A queen-sized bed is the focal point with a Smart TV mounted on the wall to enjoy movie nights. Large glass doors open onto a the patio where you can savor your morning coffee while basking in the sunrise over the ocean. The ensuite bathroom is an open concept, spa-like retreat, featuring a shower with views to the rainforest.



The second bedroom is a charming space, offering two twin-sized beds. The adjacent bathroom is stylishly designed, ensuring both comfort and convenience.



Each bedroom offers AC, closet space and blackout shades.

Guest Access:

Guests have unrestricted access to all spaces inside of the home and the amenities offered. We only keep a housekeeping storage closed at all times.



Guests also have access to the 6.7 acre estate to enjoy the gift of nature. Bird watchers, sunset lovers, nature enthusiasts & pretty much anyone seeking an amazing getaway will surely feel in paradise.



The Neighborhood:

La Casita is nestled on the top of a hill of Villa Lala, a 6.8 acres private estate surrounded by nature and neighbored by the ocean, the National Rainforest and grand mountains that surround the land.



You can expect a private, relaxing environment throughout your stay.



Villa La La is located at Ceiba, named for one of Puerto Rico’s most recognizable trees. Ceiba is a beachfront town on Puerto Rico’s northeast coast. The municipality is bordered by Naguabo to the south, Río Grande to the west, Fajardo and Luquillo to the north, and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. Ceiba is about a one-hour drive from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) and a half-hour ride from El Yunque National Rainforest.



Until 2004, Ceiba was home to the Roosevelt Roads Naval Station. Today, the former military base encompasses, among other things, the commuter-friendly Ceiba International Airport (RVR) and the Ceiba Ferry Terminal, which serves Puerto Rico’s nearby islands, Vieques and Culebra.



Ceiba is the perfect destination to enjoy a relaxing day cooling off from the tropical heat, either by the ocean or the river.



Los Machos Beach in the Medio Mundo and Daguao Natural Reserve is an easy-to-reach oasis complete with swaying palm trees, calm ocean waves, and gazebos for picnics and parties. A short walk on a tree-lined path leads to Medio Mundo Beach, a nearly two-mile (three-kilometer) slice of paradise where soft, white sand and turquoise water make this spot equally ideal for snorkeling in the Atlantic Ocean or diving into a great book.



Further inland, Río Fajardo flows down from El Yunque, creating the picturesque pools of Charco Frío. This area offers plenty of shade and a serene atmosphere where you can spend time communing with nature. Families often gather here, as several pools are shallow enough for kids to safely splash around. Nearby at Las Tinajas, flowing waterfalls, natural rock waterslides, and freshwater pools showcase the wondrous beauty of the river. It’s always a treat to marvel at the daring people who somersault off of the high rocks and plummet into the water from the rope swing.

Getting Around:

We strongly recommend renting a vehicle. Uber is not reliable in the area. Travelers seeking to explore and visit different destinations should consider renting a vehicle for flexible transportation.

ACCESSIBILITY



The property has stairs that lead from the parking area to the home. To access the house you must climb the stairs.



ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES



The alcoholic beverages shown in the photos are not offered or sold to guests or visitors.



PRIVATE HEATED SALTWATER POOL



The private pool is heated and runs on salt water. There are many benefits to this, starting with the far less amount of chemical substances that are required to maintain the pool. The water is gentle on your eyes, does not smell like chlorine, improves your skin, as saltwater is a natural exfoliator and moisturizer.



The saltwater pool also stimulates all the nerves in your body, promotes overall relaxation, and gives a fresh feeling every time after usage. Since the chlorine in a salt water pool doesn't include harsh chemicals, it produces water that is softer and silkier to the touch.



WASHER & DRYER



In unit washing and drying machines are available for all guests.



WATER HEATER



The water heater works well on both showers. The bathroom sinks and kitchen sink do not have hot water.



NO PASSPORT REQUIRED FOR AMERICAN CITIZENS



Since Puerto Rico is a territory of the United States, American citizens and permanent residents don't need a passport to travel to the Island. However, they must always travel with a valid ID, such as a driver's license or a state ID card.
