Today home to major national and international events, Villa Erba has made Cernobbio famous worldwide, along with the prestigious Villa d’Este, also just a short walk from the apartment and once the residence of, amongst others, Caroline Amalie of Brunswick, Princess of Wales, and Maria Feodorowna, Empress of Russia.
