The Space:

Discover Joel Rustic Residence, a perfectly welcoming and friendly house of 100 sqm, with three cozy bedrooms, a fully-equipped bathroom with a bathtub, and a WC with a shower, being able to accommodate up to six people. The combination of a traditional stone house with boho decorative touches creates an atmosphere that is both inviting and comfortable.



At the residence’s entrance, you will find a cozy living room with two sofas, a comfortable armchair, and a 50-inch TV with satellite internet and air conditioning.



The kitchen blends traditional elements with modern retro-style appliances. It is fully equipped with a refrigerator, cooker, dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, electric squeezer, filter coffee machine, and a Nespresso coffee machine, along with all the kitchenware and equipment you will need to prepare your meals.



Immerse yourself in the harmonious blend of tradition and boho style as the stone and wood elements create an enchanting ambiance throughout the house.



The master bedroom features a double bed (1,60*2,00) and is bathed in natural light, providing views of the garden and the pool. Additionally, a comfortable office space allows you to combine work and leisure. The second bedroom, located on a different level from the living room, boasts an internal wooden staircase. It offers a single bed (1,00*2,00) on the ground floor and a double bed (1,50*2,00) in the loft, providing views of the garden and pool.



Finally, the third bedroom offers a single bed (1,00*2,00 ) with scenic mountain views. All bedrooms provide comfort with anatomical mattresses, air conditioning, wardrobes, blackout curtains, and bedside tables.



Outside, you can relish the quintessentially Cretan environment adorned with beautiful flowers, trees, and a swimming pool to cool off all summer. The grapevine provides a natural shade, and below it, you will find a comfortable table and chairs to enjoy delightful breakfasts or other meals during the day. Moreover, the gas barbecue grill will offer you unforgettable moments with your loved ones. The pool area is equipped with sunbeds and waterproof poufs, ensuring comfort.



Climbing the stairs in the outdoor area above the bathroom, you'll discover the perfect corner of the house overlooking the bay of Souda. There, you can enjoy the stunning sunset, cocktails, read a book accompanied by the sound of birds, and sunbathe during the day. This area is equipped with waterproof poufs and sunbeds.



For added convenience, a fully-equipped outdoor bathroom is provided. It features a bathtub, a washing machine, an ironing board, an iron, a drying rack, and clothes pegs. Please note that this bathroom is separate from the main villa.

The Neighborhood:

Joel Rustic House is located in the area of Megala Chorafia, a hilltop village offering magnificent panoramic views of Souda Bay. Our residence is just a short drive away from the National Road, providing easy access to some of the most popular beaches in the area, such as Kalyves (about 5 km) and Almyrida (about 6 km), as well as the traditional villages of Apokoronas. If you are nature lovers, you will be delighted with the variety of hiking trails in the area, while if you are history lovers, the archaeological site at Aptera is just a few minutes’ drive away (about 2 km). Within 500m, you will find restaurants, tavernas, and a mini market for all your supplies.



Getting Around:

We recommend you rent a car to fully enjoy your holiday. Having a car gives you the freedom to explore the local area and nearby attractions at your own pace and experience all our destination has to offer, as well as explore the entire prefecture of Chania with its award-winning beaches, stunning mountain trails, and - of course - the Venetian Harbour.
