LOCATION:

The house is located in a quaint neighborhood in Denver, NC, and is a short drive to everything you’ll need and the fun things your family will want to see while visiting Lake Norman, including fantastic restaurant options, craft breweries, shopping. It is approximately 5.5 miles to the Walmart Supercenter and is approximately 25 miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT).

Check-in is at 4:00 PM on the first day of your reserved dates.

Guests must be 25 years or older to book our vacation rentals, no exceptions.


CLEANING:

The house will be professionally cleaned prior to your stay. Guests will be responsible for cleaning and trash disposal during their stay. Please note that your rental agreement will include a cleaning fee.

Great Weekend

We had a great experience. The house is very nice and clean. Great area of the lake. We took our boat and it was perfect. But if you don’t have a boat, it’s great just floating/swimming by the dock. We would definitely stay again!

Great place!

First time to rent through VBRO and had a great experience! We loved our house, it was very roomy and just the right size for our group! It had everything we needed! Only problem was the internet was very slow if more than 1 person got on it, but that is good when you are getting away and should be spending time with each other and not be on the computer! Definitely would rent the place again!

Excellent location for water fun!

This was our 1st trip to Lake Norman and we brought our boat with us to enjoy the water. The house is located in a quiet cove and the dock is in excellent condition. We also brought two paddleboards and rented two kayaks for everyone to enjoy. The house comfortably accommodated 7 of us during our stay. Overall it was an excellent experience!

The house has enough areas where people can spread out. We had a total of 9 people and it worked perfectly for us! Right on the lake with a dock- next time we will bring kayaks. We rented a boat about 20 miles away.

Nice area

This house worked well for our stay. It was a great location and the house was very nice. Our main issue was that there weren’t enough towels and washcloths for our party, which was 8 people and the house sleeps up to 11. I actually went to Walmart and bought some washcloths. Other than that, the house was great!

Beautiful Lake Home!

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful home on Lake Norman! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with stunning lake views, peaceful surroundings, and a home that was both immaculate and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway.The house itself is spacious, beautifully decorated, and full of natural light. The kitchen was fully equipped for family meals, and the living spaces were cozy and inviting. Each bedroom offered comfort and privacy, making it perfect for both quiet mornings and restful nights.The location was ideal—tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private, yet close to restaurants, shops, and anything we needed. The hosts were warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful, making our stay seamless from start to finish.We made unforgettable memories here and are already looking forward to returning. This home is a true gem on Lake Norman!

Great place to stay

The house was amazing! Clean! The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens ever. It was open and inviting. The sunroom facing the cove was one of our favorite rooms. We spent hours on the dock and couldn't have asked for anything more. The only downside...there was only 1 TV in the main living room and the cable package was very limited. My Mom, sisters and niece were very happy and that is all that matters.

Peaceful place!

Brandy’s attentiveness, and the response of the emergency crew when we thought we were locked out of the house, was second to none! All issues were quickly resolved. The view and water access was great. We also appreciated the sound barriers between levels and bedrooms. It may help to know that the front door can stick and make you think it is still locked after attempting to use the key. Pull towards yourself and you are in!

I want to buy this house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. So much so it has us wanting to move here, if only it was for sale! The lake area is perfect, beautiful. Very open and easy to swim and relax on. We brought our SUPs and floats (this property doesn't come with kayaks or any water fun) and the water was perfect. Not busy like some areas. Neighbors are great on all sides. Very quiet area! One KEY thing about the listing that we ran into. It's not a 5 bedroom. It's a 4 bedroom. One area they call a "bedroom' is actually just an open area upstairs outside of 2 bedrooms. So if you use this as a "bedroom", you'll have two bedrooms walking right through your area in and out. And there is NO bathroom for this person as all bathrooms are inside of the bedrooms. Another bedroom with a bunk is extremely small. It wasn't setup for 2 people even with the bunk. Negatives: - Bedroom setups are not good for 1 of the bedrooms (extremely small), and the other one that's not a bedroom (just an open area outside two bedrooms). - Old pontoon left in the slip, full of old, moldy water breeding mosquitos. - No ladder to get up on the doc which would make this bad for some, and just a big annoyance for others. Positives: - Everything else. Nice house. Excellent lake area. Big, open yard. Great doc. Great neighbors. Clean area. Would definitely recommend this if you need a get-a-way and don't need more than 3-4 bedrooms. Plenty of other rooms if you just want to blow up mattresses and sleep on the floor.

Lake Norman vacation

The property is in an amazing location, right on the lake with access to docking your own boat. The house is large and can accommodate a large family (like mine!). The other nice thing is having 4 full bathrooms, it makes getting ready so much easier. We found the house to be less than par in terms of maintenance. The A/C didn’t work upon arrival but the property managers were prompt about placing a work order. Unfortunately it was not repairable during our stay. They offered us another location but due to the nature of our visit: renting a boat, young children already settled, groceries already purchased and put away, we opted to stay. They did give a partial refund for the inconvenience, which was very nice and generous. The A/C being broke prompted us to open windows and check A/C filters. The A/C filters looked like they had not been changed in months. There were layers of dirt and dust on both the downstairs and upstairs filters. This is a surprise given the current pandemic. Upon opening the windows we were unable to open some of them due to the amount of collecting dust, dirt, debris, bugs and pollen. There was a leak under the kitchen sink as well. The master bathroom toilet kept running and other maintenance issues were noted during our stay. Overall the house is spacious and in a prime location. I would just recommend a thorough deep clean (indoors and outdoors) and better upkeep with the overall maintenance. Perhaps they were unaware of the need. We enjoyed our time there and really appreciated the kindness when we expressed our concerns.

Fabulous location, home needs some serious fixing up. Heavily worn. Moderate bug infestation. Greeted at front door/patio by heavy spider webs with many bugs Dirt and leaves. Inside not any better. Large infestation of silver fish and roaches No towels in downstairs bathroom. Fire censor chirping on arrival. Had to take it down to stop the noise Looking for a luxury rental. This is NOT it . This place will do. Value for the money Location great value. Home poor to average value This is not a home in our top 10 of vacation rentals we have stayed in. But is on the higher end for price At a more economical price would stay again. However at the current rate. Will look for something else next time The bugs are an issue

Property management company terrible!

Access to the lake was nice but the property seemed to be run down and in the need of refreshing. Outside grill was so dirty it wasn't usable. The dryer didn't work for our entire stay. Hot water in one of the bedroom showers didn't work. Property management company did nothing to fix these issues. I was told 'you have other showers you can use so it's not a problem'. We checked in on Saturday and reported dryer problem that night. It still wasn't fixed when we checked out on Wednesday. I wouldn't rent any house that this property management company is managing.

Cleaning & Grill

Grill caught on fire because no one had cleaned the grease out in what seems like ever. We had to do some initial cleaning of the house. One of the screen doors just fell off when we tried to open the rear of the house. Location was great on the water and it was very peaceful.

Great place

Great location and great house. Plenty of space for a large family. Highly recommended. Only complaint would be a few things were broken when we arrived (chair) and no soap in the showers but it was still an amazing spot.

Girls weekend at the lake

We had a great trip at this house! A group of 10 of us had plenty of room to sleep, enjoy the lake, host an in home chefs dinner and enjoy the beautiful back patio. It was a great spot! Exactly as advertised in terms of space and amazing views! We had a great time. The only cons of this house were the fridge / freezer didn’t really get cold enough to keep drinks or ice cold and the cleanliness, specifically that there were a lot of bugs. We had to kill a few palmetto bugs in the bedrooms and on the patio, someone got a fish hook stuck in their foot that was on the floor, the dock was so covered in bugs, cobwebs and dirt it took us a couple hours before we could use it. But nothing we couldn’t take care of. Great spot!
