    This is a family-friendly, cozy lake house with tons of space for the whole family or a group of friends trying to get away from it all! With comfy furniture throughout, a real fireplace, a big screen TV and bar room, a loft with built-in desk, backyard for frisbee or football throwing, large deck with a grill, and dock with four adirondack chairs...you can really do it all here. The quiet cove off the main channel is perfect for swimming and relaxing, while still being right off I-77 and a quick drive to any Mooresville nightlife!

    Please note: while we allow up to 10 overnight guests, there are only 8 spots in beds (king, double, futon, 2 twins). Two couches are also available, or you can bring sleeping bags! Only four spots available for cars, and no gatherings (graduation celebrations, etc) without pre-approval. Thanks!

    Nice getaway

    The house was a great location. It had plenty of room. Could use some updates and the dock will need refurbishing, but they definitely take that into account with the pricing and was very fair. I would recommend some brighter wattage of light bulbs in the living room and dining room. All in all it was great place, very comfy and the host was fantastic!! We had no problems, but they answered questions very quickly. We rented a boat and docked it at the dock. We floated around off the dock as well. It was so relaxing. If you are looking for a comfy lakefront house, this fits the bill.

    The location of the lake house and access to Lake Norman was our main focus. The house is an older rental, just know that you need shoes for the deck and dock to avoid splinters.

    We were celebrating a friends birthday and it was a beautiful Autumn setting on the lake. The house was more than spacious enough. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was very comfortable.

    Wonderful stay for Davidson commencement!

    The lake house was near perfect for our purposes for a home base to celebrate our son's graduation from Davidson. The lake house is just 10 minutes from campus. My family including a grandparent very much enjoyed being on the lake. The home itself is rustic and filled with character and was comfortable for our family.

    Lake House stay

    We were happy to stay at this house on the lake. Even though we did not use the lake or dock, it was beautiful. Quiet neighborhood with convenient access to Charlotte. We went to the Carolina Renaissance Festival and it was a short trip to the event. The house is comfy cozy even if it is a bit dated. It was everything we required for a short weekend.

    Good location for us to visit our son at Davidson college. Property could use some maintenance but did the job for our family. Enjoyed the dock for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. Enjoyed the garage space converted to hang out zone. Recommend leaving a blower or some tools to clean off deck, paths and dock. Yard felt unkept. Again we enjoyed the property and would consider staying again

    This home was very clean and in a wonderful neighborhood! The owner was very easy to work with and very responsive. My only comment about the home is that it is a little outdated for the price.

    Location Location Location!

    We have rented this VBRO in the past also and love its cozy feel, easy access to Lake Norman and its location so close to Everything. 3 bedrooms on the main level is key for family and the bar area is such fun for games and catching up after a great day on the lake. We will definitely rent again when family comes to visit Lake Norman.

    Location was perfect!

    This is a perfect location if you are planning lake time. We were able to dock our boat right there at the house which was really great. It’s in a nice neighborhood and it was easy to communicate with the owner. The house was fine for our needs - a bit rustic and retro as you might expect for a lake house though we didn’t spend much time inside. If you’re planning on cooking at all, you may want to bring your own essentials - the kitchen items are quite used plus you may need storage/plastic containers, plastic wrap/foil, and, if you’re more than 2 people, perhaps paper goods. And a wine opener - we were caught without right as dinner was starting. The grill was quite dirty so we decided not to use it. All in all, we enjoyed our time at the house and on the lake.

    Perfect location on the water

    The house is great, location on the lake is perfect, tucked away in a beautiful quiet cove. The house makes you feel right at home, a home similar to something you grew up in, vert welcoming. The only negative is the neighbors, not very welcoming to a VRBO near them. I witnessed one particular gentleman, pass by atleast four times that I witnessed, I guess looking for trouble, which is I understand, but this was not a group of teenagers or college students, I would say the average age of the group was 50. If you just ignore neighbors staring at you, the house is amazing, and the owner was great to work with. Definitely worth staying!!

    Great Lake escape

    The house was a very well equipped and perfect location for a getaway to the lake. All necessary utensils and items stocked well in the kitchen and the place was very comfortable and relaxing. Great dock for a day and evening hangout with the kids for the birthday on the lake. Thank you to Robert for a great stay and graduation celebration for my children.
