Important Notes for Your Stay:
• Heated Pool Option- Enjoy a warm swim! Pool heat is available April 1 – November 1 for $200 per day (2-day minimum) at a max temperature of 88 degrees. For weekend stays, the pool will be heated upon your arrival and remain heated until Saturday evening.
• No Garage Parking- Garage access is not available during your stay—ample driveway parking is provided.
• Signed Lease Required- To finalize your booking, a signed rental agreement is required.
• A background check will be completed before arrival details are shared. This helps us ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Must be 25 years of age to rent this property.
• Early Check-In / Late Check-Out- Want to extend your stay a bit? Early check-in (12 PM) and late check-out (2 PM) are available for a $150 per request—subject to availability.
• No Events or Weddings- We love a good celebration, but for the comfort of all guests and neighbors, events and weddings are not permitted.
• Dog-Friendly with Fee- Bringing your pup? We welcome up to two dogs with a $150 fee per dog. Just let us know in advance!
• Lake Levels May Vary- Water levels on Lake Norman can fluctuate daily and are outside of our control.

First time at Lake Norman. Great house and great location on Lake Norman not to mention the pool and hot tub. Property owners were very responsive and easy to work with. Great Family Vacation

We rented the home for just our family and everything was as described. The property managers were always very communicative with any questions we may have had. There was a problem with the washer that predated our visit but the manager took care of it without us having to be involved. It was a great vacation for my family and my kids loved the lake!

The house was the perfect set-up for our stay with friends. The boat dock accommodated two boats with deep water as well. The pool and hot tub only had propane for heating purposes, so we were unable to use either one in the event of draining all the propane.

Family Vacation

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at Firefly Cove. Location is superb and the views do not disappoint. Pool area was great to hang out while kids were in the house. Only disappointment was the fact that cleanliness and basic maintenance seem to get overlooked with this rental property. All issues reported to management company were addressed somewhat quickly; however, most should not have had to be reported if the home was actively upkept vs. treated as a pure-play rental.

Overall a good property.

Few issues with appliances and air conditioning. Interestingly the master has a fireplace that it shares with the living room and it’s literally an open space and not very quiet when others are in the kitchen or living room. The lake is beautiful as usual but it should be a little clearer how steep the walk is from the lake to the home. Loved having the pool and hot tub. Overall a good experience.

Lake Norman get away

The house and property are beautiful. The area is great, with grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants nearby. We had a few hiccups along the way. The house is located on a quiet little cove just off the main channel. The family had a wonderful time and we will definitely return. A few of the negatives we encountered, on the 1st day we went to fire up the stove and were unable to get the gas burner to light. The property manager responded quickly to our issue and the propane company was quickly dispatched to the house. Turns out the propane tank was empty. Minor inconvenience to get the trip started. Encountered 1 other issue on the 2nd to last night, the upstairs AC unit went out, again the property manger dispatched their AC guy and he came out and fixed the issue within a few hours. The response time on the property management company was very good. Sh*t does happen as any home owner would know. The AC filters in the house had not been changed in over a year as we found while trying to remedy the HVAC issue. All in all it was a great stay with a few bumps along the way.

Lake Heaven

We rented this property for our family Thanksgiving reunion. We live in Miami, 2 kids with baby in NY and 4 kids in Charlotte. This home was the perfect meeting spot right on the middle. And what an amazing week we had. The house was perfect to accommodate all of us, even though the Charlotte gang only stayed one night. The house itself is beautiful but it could use some upgrades… some furniture is falling apart, the kitchen could be better equipped, some of the appliances were not working properly, etc. We notified the management company so hopefully they will take care of it for future rentals. They were very accommodating, bringing us a baby security gate for our one-year old very curious grandson so we could block the stairs. Overall we had a great time and I would recommend this property.
