Originally built in 1907 as the Hillrose Methodist Episcopal Church, this lovingly restored church has become our second home—a place we poured our hearts into preserving while carefully blending historic character with modern comfort.

Throughout the restoration, something unexpected happened.

People from all over began stopping to admire the church. Former members shared stories of attending services here as children. Families told us about weddings, Christmas programs, baptisms, Sunday school, and loved ones whose lives were woven into the history of this remarkable building.

We quickly realized that this church means far more than just the two of us.

Rather than keeping it to ourselves, we decided to share it with others so new memories could be made within walls that have already witnessed more than a century of Colorado history.

Today, soaring cathedral ceilings, original hardwood floors, crystal chandeliers, antique furnishings, a grand piano, elegant French-country décor, and thoughtfully designed modern amenities come together to create an experience unlike anywhere else.

To preserve the peaceful atmosphere of the church and surrounding neighborhood, all gatherings require advance approval by the owners.

Event Guidelines

• Maximum event attendance: 20 total guests

• Maximum overnight occupancy: 6 overnight guests

• Every gathering is unique. We’d love to hear about your plans before you book so we can determine whether the church is the right fit for your celebration.

• Approved events require a separate Event Agreement outlining expectations, setup, parking, timing, cleanup, and other event-specific details.

• A separate event fee will be determined after discussing the nature of your gathering, the number of attendees, and any special accommodations requested.

• Unauthorized events or gatherings are not permitted.

To comply with applicable state and local regulations:

• No food, alcohol, merchandise, tickets, or other items may be sold anywhere on the property.

• All approved events require a signed Event Agreement acknowledging these requirements.

• Guests are responsible for complying with all applicable local and state regulations.
