Start your journey to soak up the beauty of northern Michigan here. The house is at a premium location for day trips especially to Mackinac island. We hope to provide a delightful experience for the entire family. Whether you like to fish, grill, kayak, gather by the firepit, unwind in the hot tub or are in the mode of having a laid back day, baking or cooking your favorite meals indoors, this is the place to be.

Bedroom 1 : Queen bed.
Bedroom 2 and 3: two twin beds each.


Kitchen: fully equipped for baking and cooking, stocked with all spices and cooking essentials, waffle maker, coffee station, toaster oven, Kettle, blender, you name it.

Game room in the basement: board games, air hockey, foosball, hoola hoops.

Outdoors: equipped for dining, gas grill, hot tub with breathtaking river views, firepit.

Washer, dryer available, iron, hair dryer, first aid kit, Roku TV, high speed internet.

Beach towels, regular towels, sheets, robes for hot tub, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash.

Garage and parking available.

2 kayaks are available for your enjoyment with different size protective gear. Please use the closest public boat launch (The Forks, less than 0.5 miles from the house). Please note, the docks located directly in front of the house in all directions are private.


Day trips:
-Mackinac island (15 miles to catch the ferry from Mackinaw city)- enjoy island biking, ferry rides, horse rides.
-Petoskey (34 miles) for shopping, beaches, waterfront dining and famous Petoskey stone hunting.
-Indian river (17 miles) Big Bear Adventures (tube/raft/kayak/mini golf) as well as Cross in the Woods)
-The iconic Leggs Inn restaurant: 30 mi.

Water activities:
-The Forks: boat launch (0.5 mi)
-Nautical north family adventures for boat tours and fireworks cruises.
-Inland waterways for boating/kayaking/fishing (2 kayaks available for guest use).
-Beaches: Cheboygan state park (Huron lake). Burt lake State park.

-North central state trail (17mi) (for non motorized traffic year round, snow mobiling Dec thru March.
-The black mountain recreation Area (15 mi) provides 30 miles of marked trails for hiking, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling.
-North eastern state trail (42 mi) for runners, cyclists and hikers.
-Downhill skiing: Nub's nob (38 mi) and Boyne's mountain (60 mi)

House rules:
NO SMOKING inside the house.
NO WEED on premises.
No pets allowed.
Quiet time 11:00 pm.
The game room and laundery room are the ONLY 2 accessible spaces in the basement.
Absolutely NO tanning oil or sunscreen or perfumes when using the hot tub. Please shower before use and close the lid after use.
Please use protective gear when using the kayaks. No children unattended on kayaks.
