Deferred maintenance- no response from owner

Condo was cute and clean. HOWEVER, one ONE of the burners worked in the stove. (The smallest burner) and the oven did not work at all. Kitchen only had one pepper shaker and nothing else. For the price, we did expect there to be salt and pepper, and also possibly nonstick spray for cooking. Also, only two out of six lightbulbs worked in the bathroom. And, there was a funky smell that was constant in the bathroom. May be old plumbing. No impress with zero response to our communication about the stove and oven not working.

Nothing fancy but not underwhelming either. Weird bedroom lighting (or lackthereof) situation. And no basic coffee/tea amenities was very disappointing forst thing in the morning.

Nice view and clean but poor location. Broken laundry door, tacky plastic sheet on bed, window screens not cleaned in years, 2 stove burners not working, paint on floor, poor detail work on remodel, illogical and limited furniture layout and bad lighting.

Very close to downtown, wineries and the lake. The "view" was ok but has large power lines in front. There was alot of broken items. Half the burners on stove didnt work, toilet seat was broken, sink was clogged, lamp didnt work, and there was no coffee.

No Paradise here

I’m town for a destination wedding booked over a year in advance. Don’t stay here. Managed by VaCasa and they are horrible. Dirty stairs coming up, ‘bathroom trash’ on landing and stairs Front Door has been broken into and not repaired properly. Hair all over couch, some looked nonhuman. Dried white stains on comforter🙄 I threw it on the floor on the closet along with the throw pillows Floors dirty despite request to keep shores off see white washcloth for the bathroom and a hand towel for the main and bedroom. Filthy. Light in stairwell out. Neighboring renters were using a phone flashlight. Someone will get hurt and sue you. Toilet was clogged. Had to shut water off to avoid overflow. Plunged it. It doesn’t flush right. Bath sink backs up. Fridge is not cold. All food we put in there is not edible. Water and drinks barely cold. It’s on high. Was when we checked in. Freezer works though. Birds nest over car in carport. No laundry detergent. The top of the kitchen table has been ruined and looks awful. Most cabinets don’t stay closed. Transition into kitchen and out have damage, the worst one is a trip hazard. I saw the ‘sold’ flyer in the window in town. These owners don’t care about the condition. Vacasa never followed up. All of this was sent to them. I included pictures on my review there and they didn’t post them.

Terrible stay at this VRBO

we had kids that stayed next door and partied all night untill three in the morning. Alot of yelling, loud music, slamming of the doors. Running up and down the stairs. And screaming and fighting. during our stay. we asked two of them if they could quiet down but did not care. I called and left two messages with the property manager and got no response. Called the 24/7 number and told the person what was going on she stated she would find out what she could do for us but never bothered to get to us. So for this reason we left a day early and want to be reimbursed for that day. Hope fully you will respond to this message with a resolution to the problem we had. All this started from the beginning of our stay.

Very nice stay

No complaints. It was very clean, and it was accurate to the listing - maybe even slightly nicer than I thought it would be based on the price. The view is amazing. Location is great as well. For those wondering since it isn't spelled out well in the listing, the sofas in the listing are sleeper sofas and there is bedding for them.

Great location

This property is a great location, close to everything and was just the right size for two of us. The bed was comfy, but had a plastic mattress protector which was loud when moving around in bed. Only thing that was not ideal was the dog next door barked a lot, volume on TV did not work and there was no iron.

Nice view

Nice view and close to downtown. Would have loved to see a little more attention to details. Trash can was to big in kitchen so we could not shut the cabinet, no remote for air so had to stand on a chair, bathroom looked like it was still being renovated. The positive- clean, bed was very comfortable and view was beautiful!

Shocking

When we arrived there was cardboard and do cloth covering the floor. Sections of sheet rock were removed, sheet rock dust was everywhere, construction materials were scattered around. Cupboard doors were left open. Cleaning supplies were littering the kitchen counters. It felt like they were not ready for guests. It took 30 minutes to connect with customer service and 2 hours to get a response. Other than all that, the place had a good view, was shocked in basic materials needed, the couch and bed were uncomfortable and the stove only had 2 working burners.

DIY remodel in progress & poorly executed

The first thing we noticed upon arrival was kitchen cabinets with doors that don’t close. Doors taken off for painting weren’t rehung properly leaving them all ajar. The wall to the side of the refrigerator is badly scarred with a deep gouge. The paint job on the molding throughout the condo is sloppy. There’s not faceplate cover over an outlet leaving 120 volts exposed. The paint job in the bathroom is sloppy, as well, with the towel ring smeared with paint. The tile job throughout is also sloppy with thin set/mortar excess on the sides. The kitchen counter tile is uneven causing cleaning issues. There’s no chest of drawers in the bedroom, so no place to store clothes. Large closets to hang clothes, but no drawers for underwear. The walls between condos are paper thin, so you’d better like the music choices of your neighbors, and their dog barking when they leave, too. No hairdryer and no full towel set (1 washcloth!). The owners ask guests to start a load of towels in the washer, but one can’t even open the washer door because it’s blocked by the bifold doors. The furnishings are lovely and comfortable, but it’s like putting lipstick on a pig. Definitely do not recommend! We did have a conversation with Vacasa (the property manager), and they said they would be having a conversation with the owner. Perhaps the owner will fix some of the issues, but until they do, avoid this property.

The condo was quiet and has been updated. Some significant issues with broken kitchen cabinets. Washer and dryer in unit but not accessible due to configuration of the closet door. Shower curtain was gross with rust stains and paint splatters which made it obvious it had not been laundered for some time. Also, brought into question if linens had actually been laundered especially given no access to washer. Cleanliness was poor with beard trimmings and old toothpaste on bathroom cabinets and kitchen drawers needed to be wiped out.

Good location and comfortable

This property is an updated apartment in a slightly older apartment complex. The cleanliness of the apartment could have been better, especially since we're paying extra for a cleaning fee. The floors seemed like they needed to be mopped and the shower curtain looked pretty gross. Otherwise, we had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the view. It's also just a short 5-minute drive into town, which is nice.
