Our custom-built A-frame sits directly on the water in Chelton, along PEI’s warm south shore. It has been a special gathering place for our family for years, and we’re happy to share it with guests looking to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of Island life.
The view is one of the cottage’s most memorable features. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out over the ocean and Confederation Bridge, filling the main living space with natural light. Start your morning with coffee in the breakfast nook as boats pass in the distance. In the evening, follow the private boardwalk down to the waterfront platform and watch the colours of the sky and sea change as the sun sets.
A quiet neighbourhood beach is just a three-minute walk away. Chelton Beach Provincial Park, known for some of the warmest swimming waters on the Island, is only four minutes away by car.
Inside, the cottage offers 1,600 square feet of bright, comfortable living space. With three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and a pull-out sofa, there is plenty of room for families or groups of up to eight guests.
Guests will enjoy:
• A beautiful kitchen and breakfast nook overlooking the ocean and Confederation Bridge
• A spacious, light-filled living room with a propane fireplace
• Three bedrooms, each with a queen bed
• A pull-out sofa in the living room
• Three full bathrooms
• A private boardwalk and waterfront viewing platform
• A deck and BBQ for relaxed outdoor meals
• A washer and dryer
• High-speed Wi-Fi
The cottage is tucked into a peaceful corner of the Island while still being close to many of PEI’s favourite destinations. Summerside and the Confederation Bridge are both about 15 minutes away. The historic Sea Cow Head Lighthouse is a short drive from the cottage, while the seaside village of Victoria-by-the-Sea, with its galleries, theatre, cafés, and lobster suppers, is about 30 minutes away. Charlottetown and the airport are approximately one hour away.
Spend your days swimming, exploring the Island, sharing meals on the deck, or simply sitting by the water and watching the boats pass.
We hope you fall in love with this peaceful place just as our family has.
