Welcome to a spacious 3BR apartment in the heart of Lakeview, one of Chicagoâs best neighborhoods for dining, nightlife, theatre, transit, and easy access to Wrigley Field and the lakefront. The home is comfortable and practical for families, friends, work trips, and longer stays, with fast WiFi, a full kitchen, and room to gather after a day in the city. While we've updated the entire building, it's construction dates back to 1889, so expect Chicago historic character with modern updates!
We monitor messages closely before and during each stay. The fastest way to reach us is by replying directly through your booking platform. We are happy to help with arrival questions, parking guidance, local recommendations, or anything that would make your stay more comfortable.
Lakeview is one of Chicagoâs most convenient and enjoyable neighborhoods for visitors. Youâll be close to Wrigley Field, local restaurants, coffee shops, theatres, music venues, neighborhood bars, grocery options, and easy public transit.
The area gives you a true neighborhood/local experience while still keeping the rest of Chicago within easy reach. Spend the day exploring the lakefront, catch a Cubs game or concert, walk to dinner, or hop on the train to reach downtown, Museums, Lincoln Park, Navy Pier, or other parts of the city.
Guests have access to the full apartment. Shared building areas include the main entry/stairwell, laundry/utility area, and small backyard with outdoor seating/table during warmer months (~May through ~October).
Street permit parking may be available for an optional fee, and there are also public garages and paid parking options nearby.
This is a comfortable 3-bedroom, 1-bath apartment in a historic Chicago building. It's hard to find homes with this balance of character and space in such a desirable area of Chicago. The home has a full kitchen, dining space, living room, fast WiFi, and room for families, friends, or work travelers to spread out.
Please note that the apartment has one bathroom and is located up two flights of stairs.
The Bedrooms: To make room for comfier Queen beds, the bedroom doors don't open all the way. A slightly tighter squeeze on the way in, but many guests happily trade a few inches of doorway for a bigger bed.
Bedroom 1: Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Queen bed
Bedroom 3: Queen bed
Additional sleeping: sleeper sofa, air bed, pack & play if applicable
Air Conditioning: Window and portable floor units cool the main living areas and 2 of the 3 bedrooms (those two also have ceiling fans), roughly May through October. Because it's a historic building with doors that don't fully open, airflow is limited, so bedrooms can run warmer than the living room on the hottest days. We keep extra fans on hand for any room that needs one. Just ask.
The apartment is well located for getting around Chicago without a car. Youâll be moments from CTA train and bus options, with easy walkable access to Wrigley Field, the lakefront, Lincoln Park, downtown, and nearby neighborhoods.
Rideshare and taxis are easy to use in the area. If you drive, please read street signs carefully. Chicago parking rules can vary block by block, and permit parking may require a pass.
A Historic Home (est. 1884): This is a second-floor walk-up: two flights of stairs, no elevator, and loads of character. You can still spot the original gas-lamp hookups in the bedrooms, from back before the building had electricity. With several units under one roof, a little city and neighbor noise can carry. The train is a short walk away but too far to actually hear.

It does not cover intentional damage, parties, smoking, pet damage, unauthorized guests, theft, injuries, or anything above the limit. It is not insurance.
