The Neighborhood:
East Wittering is a relaxed and friendly seaside village with everything you need for a perfect coastal break. The high street is just a short stroll away and offers a great mix of independent shops, cafés, restaurants, and useful amenities. You’ll find a bakery, butcher, fishmonger, greengrocer, and even a surf shop – ideal for picking up supplies or gifts during your stay.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink, from casual brunch spots and coffee shops to local pubs and takeaway fish and chips. The vibe is welcoming and laid-back, popular with families, walkers, and watersports enthusiasts alike.

Best of all, the beach is just at the end of the road. It’s a mix of shingle and sand, perfect for swimming, paddleboarding, or simply watching the sunset with an ice cream in hand. For wider sandy shores, West Wittering Beach – one of the south coast’s most loved – is just a 5-minute drive or a beautiful walk along the coast.

Getting Around:
With everything on your doorstep, you may not even need to use a car during your stay. There are bus routes to Chichester, where trains run regularly to London and Portsmouth.

Not suitable for those with limited mobility due to steep stairs.
