This delightful studio in West Ashling gives you a lovely opportunity to enjoy rural Sussex. Only a short distance from the South Downs with ample hiking and cycling trails and the coastal picturesque villages including Bosham, this is a great location from which to explore Chichester Harbour and the South Downs.
The space
I am very excited to welcome guests to my lovely studio lodge in pretty West Ashling. It offers a great space for those seeking a short break near to the South Downs and the coast of Chichester Harbour. It sleeps up to 2 guests and is perfect for a couples short getaway.
Walk down the covered walkway towards the welcoming sky blue door with porthole and enter into the delightful studio space. The comfortable king bed is made up with fresh white linen and lots of throw cushions. The lovely chair in the large window offers a great spot for curling up with a book and a warming cup of tea after a busy day exploring, or just to watch one of your favourite shows on the TV (you will need to use your own login details to access the apps on the TV). There is a small table and chair set where you can enjoy your breakfast or dinner. The small kitchenette area offers a fridge with a freezer compartment, allowing you to enjoy some of the home made ready meals on offer in the local farmshops. Please note that the kitchenette space is only very small, however the lodge is located in the village of West Ashling with a lovely pub, the Richmond Arms, just a short walk away. There are many other lovely pubs and eateries all within a mile or so of the lodge as well. The small table offers a space for remote working also.
The bathroom is just off the bedroom, with a shower, basin and WC.
You will have access to the whole lodge, as well as the private terrace area with outdoor seating. I won't be around in person, however, I have help managing my Airbnb by Tom and Clare at Pass The Keys Chichester, who are available to assist you with your stay. The annexe is professionally cleaned and the linen and towels are replaced with professionally laundered supplies between each stay. Remote self check-in gives flexibility for late arrivals, and 24/7 guest support is on hand should you need any assistance during your stay.
There will be some complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for you which I am sure will be useful for those arriving after a long journey!
Fresh white bedding and towels are provided (hand towel and bath towel per person) as well as miniature travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, loo roll and kitchen roll. If more is needed, there is a Co-op a mile away.

Check in time is after 4pm and check out time is before 10am. We may need to levy a charge if you do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner's schedule.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
