Come enjoy the lazy lifestyle at Lazy Bear Cottage, only 10-minute drive from downtown Helen! We have your family covered at this extremely private creek front cottage. You have 3.2 acres to roam and enjoy the wildlife as you sit out on the large screened-in covered back deck or soak in the 7-Person hot tub spa also screened-in! With your family in mind we have stocked the kitchen with all your cooking needs and have a Keurig/Drip coffee maker to enjoy a cup of locally roasted coffee from Jumping Goat Coffee Company (Our favorite is the Southern Pecan). Enjoy grilling out off of the main floor front deck and step right into the large family room with a beautiful 8 seater table where everyone can sit and enjoy family time!

The master bedroom is located conveniently on the main floor and boasts a large king bed with ensuite full bathroom. Sliding door onto the screened-in porch to enjoy the sounds of the creek first thing in the morning or slip out with your morning cup of coffee to enjoy nature! Don't worry there is plenty of room for others if you still want to bring them to this wonderful peaceful paradise! In this cabin we have three other guest bedrooms. Upstairs is another King Luxurious Bed with ensuite and Smart TV, downstairs you have a guest bedroom with Queen bed. Downstairs also has a game room with foosball, Smart TV, and a futon bed to sleep another 2 people if desired!

Right off of the game room, you can walk outside to a screed-in and covered patio where your large hot tub awaits! We drain, clean, refill and set to heat for each guest so that you just have to step out and enjoy. You have views of the sprawling hillside and creek that regularly have wildlife to enjoy watching such as deer, squirrels, birds, and the occasional turtle that likes to creep on by!

We created this private creekside cottage so that we could help families share memories together. We have lots of board and card games, a multigame table, and a fun casino-style bar to enjoy laughs through the night in the large living room with a seasonal gas fireplace. You will fall in love with the warmth and comfort you find at Lazy Bear Cottage.

Be sure to bring extra of these items and any other items you may need for your stay

Fishing package available: Trout fishing in our private Blue Creek Trout pond stocked with Rainbow trout. Fishing Season: Spring March 1-June 15 and Fall October - November. Each package includes Access to the trout pond and blue creek area, catch and keep 10 trout max, no catch and release, and bring your own fishing equipment. Add the package at checkout or by calling the office.
