Roxy Ridge is a very unique cabin development that boast incredible National Forest and Lake Views within walking distance to Horsehead Lake and the newly developed Horsehead Lake Lodge and Event Center. Roxy Ridge 3, the third cabin in the development contains a full kitchen that overlooks the open living room and balcony. The unit has one bedroom with king bed, one queen sleeper sofa and full bathroom with jacuzzi tub. The balcony and look out tower will take your breath with the surrounding nature and tree top feel of it all.

Lovely cabin with awesome decks and outdoor areas. Secluded and quiet, yet still close to I45, making it easy to get to town and other attractions we were interested in. Awesome sunsets ans sunrises. The enclosed deck area was great for us to have the dogs out there with us without having to leash or worry about them wandering. Very clean and well stocked.I misunderstood from listing the location of kayaks and dock/lake access. They are a short AWD or 4WD ride or a bit of a walk away (not directly on this cabin's lot).

I was impressed with the whole experience. Easy booking, easy check in and out. The pictures don’t do the view justice! Loved the cabin it was very well kept and clean. Perfect for a nice getaway where it’s peaceful and quiet. I can’t wait to go again. It’s sour new favorite spot!

Very well thoughtout design. Our children came to visit for a family lunch and there was plenty of room to eat, visit and relax. The shade allowed us to take family strolls to view the area. The peoperties are secluded yet just a short drive to interstate. We explored the dirt roads up and around the lake and even kayaked acrossed to the recreation area. Would love to rent all 3 for a family weekend.

The property is great with a great view. My only complaint was about the lights. It would have been nice to have a reading lamp in the bedroom and the lights in the main room are so bright that it feels like a spotlight. Having a dimmer would really make things more pleasant.

Amazing yet again

This was our second year in a row to come to drive the roads, view the mountains and the fall foliage. The colors were not as vibrant due to lack of rain, but this rental is amazing as are the roads to drive. Love this area and love this unit. The Internet was quite sporadic and Robbie had a man come out to put a new receiver in that fixed the issue in less than a half hour. Great service.

Perfectly private and not too far

We loved this little space nestled up in the trees. The house is extremely well equipped and very nicely furnished and decorated. It’s a truly perfect couple’s getaway and I’d recommend it in a heartbeat. We were there for the 4th of July and we sat in the treetop perch watching nearly a dozen different home fireworks show with a view that stretched all the way to the horizon. Just beautiful!

Fantastic property!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. The cabin was clean, modern, and everything worked just like it’s supposed to. The views are spectacular and we were very lucky to have great weather to enjoy from the decks. We took advantage of the sunny days we had and spent them paddling around Horsehead lake and hiking nearby trails. I would absolutely recommend this place to my friends.

Total relaxation in the woods

When they say this is an upscale property, they are not kidding. The cabin was beautiful with stained wood, tons of windows, a well equipped kitchen and 4 different levels of outdoor entertainment spaces. We enjoyed sitting in front of the Roxy Ridge fire pit in our own secluded space set below the cabin as well as on the treetop deck with beautiful views of the mountains and valley. Then on a rainy day, we were able to sit on two other protected decks, one even with gas powered fire pit. The living areas were comfy with a comfortable but spacious bedroom with king bed and living room with large TV and electric fire place, as well as a spacious bathroom with large jetted tub. Access to the washer and dryer were a bonus. We loved every minute we were there and would highly recommend it.

Fantastic! Wow!

The view is up there with anything we have seen in visiting 50+ countries. The cabin design and finishings are top notch. Owner offered to take us up the hill if our C8 Corvette could not make it but I did not even have to use the front end lift to raise it 2". Another reviewer said should have a 4x4. Not when we were here. A few things to be aware of but far outweighed by the setting. 1. Internet can be slow at times. 2. Putting TP in a bag so as not to flush it just adds to the rustic setting. 3. Not the owners issue, but Waze is iffy in this area. I had it set to prevent unpaved roads and several times on day trips it routed me on gravel- once for about 15 miles. Fortunately my Vette is a daily driver. Bottom line: I would plan our next trip to the Ozarks around this cabin's availability.

Perfect Getaway

Cabin 3 had all the privacy we needed for a weekend away. We were staying for a wedding at Horsehead Lake Lodge and the whole weekend was spectacular. I was able to check in early which is always a perk. And drinking coffee as the sun comes up around you in the treehouse as the sun came up each morning was perfection. Would love to stay here again.

Perfect mix of fun and relaxation!

I reserved this cabin for my parents anniversary (age 50-52) and they absolutely loved it! They said it was a perfect mix of fun and relaxation. The walk to the dock is steep, so they recommend a 4w drive or to just be mentally/physically prepared for that. They were able to walk it with minimal issues. Lots and lots of fish and gorgeous views!! The host is amazing with great communication and keeps the cleaniness of the cabins top‐notch!
