The Coach House

Surround yourself with a coastal vibe in this fully-remodeled 3 bed, 1 bath house on a property offering stunning Lake Erie views, breezes, and sunsets! Enjoy your morning coffee from the spacious front porch or secluded back porch or from inside with views of the light house breakwall . Take a stroll to the beach or over to downtown Broadway, and be sure to check out everything Lorain has to offer while you're here. Pets are OK with additional fees and pre-approval. Welcome aboard!

This house has been fully renovated from top to bottom. The kitchen sports new stainless steel appliances and has everything needed for a night of dining-in. The house offers two porches with views of the lake or complete privacy. The first floor has open living and dining areas with a TV and a cozy electric fireplace. The upstairs den offers another sitting area and TV, complete with board games, a bookshelf, and a twin-sized bed. Take your pick from the other two bedrooms from a bright and open room with a king-sized bed, Papasan chair, and large closet, or another cozy, napping room with a full-sized bed and closet. The upstairs bathroom has a beautiful bright new tile job, a linen closet full of things you may have forgotten, and a bath to soak in if you want to relax after a day of adventure. A propane grill is off the back porch for grilling out and a washer and dryer are available to use in the basement.

Family fun at the coach house

My daughter/grandson and I stayed at the coach house while visiting family in Lorain. Very cozy with everything you could want and three comfy roomy upstairs bedrooms. We especially enjoyed the front porch and the yard with a view of the lake across the street. Would definitely stay here again.

Adorable coach house!

One of the cleanest, most comfortable rentals we’ve stayed in. My boys loved their board games! We appreciated a very clean bathroom and the short walk to the lake. My husband is from Lorain and this was such a great way to visit his hometown.

Amazing location, friendly property owners!

It was an amazing stay. We met Brooke and she was so accommodating and has the best personality! Her hospitality is on par! Couldn’t have asked for a better location or better timing. With rocking on the lake less than a 20 minute walk away. The park isn’t but a few minutes away with a pier you can walk out on to the lighthouse. I recommend!!

Perfect Location

We stayed at the Coach House for a week while visiting our son at Oberlin College. Both my husband and I were able to work remotely as well with plenty of space to spread out. The house is a perfect size and we loved the location close to the beach/park and nearby restaurants and stores. We were even able to bring our dog with us for the trip. We have 3 more years of visits so we will probably be back. Patrick & Brooke were great hosts too and very communicative and helpful.

First Class VRBO!

The Coach House is a wonderful place quietly nestled in the back of a property near Lake Erie. The hosts were very considerate and left us many things like milk, eggs, and coffee. The house is freshly remodeled and was both comfortable and very well appointed. We would definitely stay here again.

Great House! Great Location! Great Owners!

We came to Lorain to visit family and I could not find a hotel I liked, so I decided to rent a house for me, my mom and my two sons. The house was clean and cozy! Enough room for each of us to have our own space and feel at home. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the porch each morning while sipping tea. The park and beach are just a quick walk down the street! The communication from the owners was prompt and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it to others!!

Cozy house on the Lake

Relaxing week in a comfy place

Pat was great with communication and input. Our family recharged and reconnected before going different ways. We really loved the nearby park and beach, papasitas Mexican dinner on their patio. Ice cream from nearby K Cream Korner, golf at the valley of the eagles and awesome pace and quiet. We would highly recommend.

Family fun

Three generations of family fun! This property had everything we needed and was just a couple blocks from the beach park. Even on the rainy day, we found plenty to do. We rode bikes, played games, spent the entire day at the beach, and ate great ice cream. The house is beautiful and comfortable with every single item needed. Thanks so much for a memorable weekend.
